Hi I am testing aranger423 because I am interested in all types of arrangers running under Linux. I find it very interesting with many features of which I probably only glimpsed a small portion. I use Ubuntu trusty with dosemu. A major issue is that the available release is a demo that stops regularly during use. I looked at the borland folder and found all the necessary sources and software to build the executable. I built from sources (aranger folder) with the Borland C++ compiler (bc.exe) found in the bin folder and everything goes correctly. The compilation provided release 424, but still in demo. So I edited the sources and found how to change to Full release. in PROT_KEY.CPP modify ligne 371 as below (remove remark). 367 void SetDEMOStatus(unsigned char vinagi) 368 { 369 unsigned long d = 0x070E635F; 370 if( (d*8) == GetHardDriveSerial()) pp->licence_level = 0x5F; 371 pp->licence_level = 0x5F; 372} ----------------------for linux users only------------------------ stygmorgan is a similar linux software which use yamaha psr styles. you can find it on sourceforge.
