Swapsy does not hold any client money; instead, it facilitates the exchange of e-wallet information among users for them to swap currencies.Swapsy graduated from the UCSD Rady StartR accelerator and is currently a member of EvoNexus Incubator and Mucker Lab Incubator. The team comprises expats and former international students from diverse backgrounds, united to disrupt the stagnant currency exchange market by providing users with almost no-cost exchange experiences. To ensure the legitimacy of the person you will swap with, all users on the platform have to pass ID verification.
