Teleprompter Pro

Pros: It might have been simple. But control options and directions are pretty much useless. I'm surprised this is endorsed by online reviews.

Cons: Not what it was advertised to be. Speed control for script (up and down button use) does not work. Directions are not extensive. It's supposed to be simple, but there's not really enough to work with.

Pros: So far, the only teleprompter version that runs on Windows and PCs.
The setup is transparent so it overlaid another window nicely.

Cons: I downloaded the free version, so the limit is only for 1000 characters.
There were no options to speed up or slow down the flow.
For that alone, I would not pay $8.99 for the product.

Overall: Looking for a teleprompter to run 1-hour workshop.
There are other teleprompters on other devices, but I could not find one for windows; therefore, I tried this one to check it out.

Pros: I was looking for a teleprompter program and tried a free version of one called Teleprompter. I found it didn't give me enough control. So I decided to try a Microsoft product instead and went for the pro version because it was quite cheap. I found it very confusing because what downloaded was the Pro version of Teleprompter. I thought Microsoft had ripped me off. But I guess in fact I got what I paid for.

Cons: Basically does the job, but seems to lack any option to reverse the scrolling if you end up going too fast. So you cannot correct for making a scrolling error. You have to go all the way back to the beginning and scroll back through. There is also no way to correct the text.

Overall: A very basic, but limited program. I would not have bought even the cheap version if I had known was I was getting.
