About Verizon Visual Voicemail
Basic Visual Voicemail shows a list of your voicemails. You can choose which to play, delete or reply to with a call or text. Premium Visual Voicemail and Voicemail to Text for iPhone transcribe the first 45 seconds of your voicemails so you can read them. All Verizon mobile phones still have basic (audio) voicemails. You can always dial *86 from your mobile device to hear and manage voicemails. Basic Visual Voicemail is free and included with your smartphone plan. Not available for Android devices on prepaid accounts. Premium Visual Voicemail lets you read your voicemails for $2.99/line per month on Android/Windows phones. Not available on prepaid accounts. Depending on your plan, you may incur additional data charges with Visual Voicemail. Download and use will be billed on a per-megabyte basis, or according to any data package you have. Mobile-to-mobile minutes do not apply. Standard rates apply to any calls, emails or messages initiated from Visual Voicemail.

"Awful - Has Barely Worked on My Verizon Galaxy 23+ " Posted 2025-02-08
Pros: Comes with phone manufacturer installed. If it worked it would be great. Worked on past phones before 2023.
Cons: Doesn't appear to be able to be un-installed. Brakes all the time, no notice f voicemail, tough or impossible to fix, tough to replace.
Overall: Bad. Disappointing. Hours on phone with Verizon and Samsung but neither can make it work. Something to consider if buying a Samsung with Verizon if you need voicemail.

"Terrible Misleading Product" Edited 2024-07-27
Pros: Seeing the text is nice. Thats it.
Cons: 1) When you archive, it doesn't save the NAME of the caller that showed when it was unheard
2) The archive should allow me to create folders or categories. In my position, I am never allowed to delete ANY vmail
3) YOU ADVERTISED THAT THIS SERVICE ALSO ALLOWED ONE TO BOTH SEND AND RECEIVE FAXES. THERE IS NO FAX CAPABILITY OF ANY KIND.
4) When I archive a call, I should be able, right THEN, to rename from your gibberish AND I should be allowed to set any place on my phone or cloud to save it
DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND HOW CRITICAL THIS STUFF IS? AND WHY ARE YOU ADVERTISING FAXING CAPABILITIES THAT YOU DON'T HAVE?Overall: Its a terrible and inefficient system that cant do things that are crucial to many people. Don't waste your money !
