Halloween’07
Ever had a sugar crash?? The one you get from eating too much candy. Yeah that was pretty much it. I was basically eating candy in the middle of the night while studying for my math test… For a moment I was really glad. I have not eaten Kit-Kat, Sneakers, M&Ms, and other ❤ for a long long time. Just snuggling them down my throat was so satisfying yet there’s the guilt behind it. My family has never got into the practice of Halloween just because of the origins of it. As usual I was at home studying and answering the door bell for candy. The kids from my neighborhood were all dressed up in cute outfits but I was too busy giving out candies to take photos of them. Hallowed be thy name! Hallelujah!
Christian Halloween – The Pros and Cons?
Halloween has manipulated and “tricked” by the secular pagan world and much of what happens on Halloween is far from spiritual. In fact, some of the Halloween traditions have pagan origins.
The Bible doesn’t speak directly about Halloween, but some biblical principles apply. One things is clear — all pagan practices are to be avoided. Witchcraft, occult practices, sorcery, etc. are strictly forbidding in the Bible (Exodus 22:18; Acts 8:9-24; Acts 16, 19). It is obvious that a small child dressing up as a princess or a cowboy isn’t involving themselves with witchcraft, so what is a biblical stance on Halloween?
If you decide Halloween is something just for the fun of collecting candies, then make sure that you are kept far away from the evil aspects of Halloween. When believers participate in anything (even Halloween), their attitudes, dress, and behavior should glorify Christ (Philippians 1:27)

Sorting out the Candies (Good/Bad)

The bad ones 😦

Can’t decide??

The supposedly good ones?

Ewww… is that tootsie rolls!
So that was all the candy that was on the breakfast table. My brother weighed all of it (the good ones and the bad as well) and it came out to be around 4 pounds! Good luck with tooth decays :p
