    an update

Mood:        Math, Roman History (Latin), AP Biology, AP USH, Lit, Physics, ECON!

Ever since school has started, I have not had any decent sleep (w/ the exception of Friday and Saturday nights).  I freakin hate school!! The problem is that i’m not the only one who is sleep deprived… all the other smarty pants have less than 6 hours of sleep every night (on average). It could very well be my fault for signing up for the wrong classes. Five weeks into school and my workload just keeps on piling. Who would have thought that AP Biology would be hell!? The material covered in Biology is not that difficult though it can be confusing at times but it is the weekly tests that is killing everyone’s grade. Ms Tucker is an excellent teacher but her tests are like *********.  All the questions on the tests are phrased in a very strange way that at most, I have to read and analyze it again and again. I get all stressed up trying to study for the tests and then have a nervous breakdown while taking the test. Imagine all the analysis I have to do… for 70 questions (yes, that is hell). In simple words, Tucker’s tests are UNREASONABLY DIFFICULT!  Again, note that i’m not the only thinking this way.

ok. I have to rant about this. Seriously! My physics teacher has been gone for the past one week and will not be back until next Monday. And where on earth is she??  IN SPAIN, on a cruise.  That’s totally *** up. I dont mean to curse but i’m really pissed. She didnt even teach before she left and now she left the (sub)situte with a whole bunch of worksheets that we have to complete each day. The physics textbook is a total crap and everything about it is so elementary (even the cover). No one knows the material and yet we’re testing on Thursday. Is mr Z. out of his mind? How could he approve of such an absence? Carter doesnt even know her stuff and yet she’s teaching. Seriously. She is the ONLY teacher I have who is so UNPROFESSIONAL. She just simply loves downgrading herself to be like one of us. I think she should just go back to her lab engineering job.

    Touche, touche

    Mood:      somewhere in the middle

And so, I gave life to this blog…

Lots of events going on right now in the States so where should I start? Summer has ended and now we welcome a whole strain of climatic changes with the weather. Hurricane Gustav hit New Orleans, Louisana last week and right here in Georgia we are anticipating Hurricane Hanna in the next couple of weeks. Continue to pray for those families whose houses have been damaged by the uncanny turn of events.

The presidential race is still on. Obama is still waging war against McCain, directing most of his energy towards the McCain camp’s energy policy. Another thing I have to comment about is the Republicans’ choice of VP Palin. McCain seriously does not have any brains at all. His plan of luring women voters is surely not going to work. What was he thinking? Choosing a women he had only met once?  Plus, more havoc over at Palin’s family side. Her 17 year old, unwed daughter is 5 months pregnant (talk about news). Also there have been two rumors buzzing across town; first is that Palin had an affair with her husband’s ex business partner and the next being Palin’s younger son, Trig.  Either way if both is true, there would be concerns pertaining to her ability to take on the VP job. The VP’s main job is to be in charge of foreign affairs and Palin certainly has no foreign policy experience (what can you expect from an Alaskan governor). Do check out Palin’s background… I find it simply humorous that her husband is a fisherman and a snowmobile champion.

Ok back to little baby Trig who has down syndrome. Is Trig Palin’s real son? or her grandson?? From what I heard and saw, Palin was with a flat belly 2 months preceding labour. Her daughter who was beside her looked more like the one who was pregnant. Also adding to my belief was that Bristol was absent from school 5 months before her mum was supposedly due for labor. Now so who’s pregnant?  From my stand point, McCain would have a better chance of claiming the White house if he had chose a more experienced, male politician (eg. Joe Lieberman, Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, etc.)

Just to add in to the fun
