Today is #WorldCancerDay – a day to raise awareness, encourage prevention and acknowledge the many millions of people who are fighting this disease. 💜 With so many of us directly affected by cancer, it's important to take a moment to stand with everyone affected, whether they're faced with a diagnosis or supporting a loved one. It's also important to acknowledge the advancements that have been made – thanks to the life sciences community – and the numerous companies on a mission to develop innovative therapies and, eventually, a cure. As the fight continues, we must also reflect on the ongoing global disparities, where low-income families and countries receive worse health outcomes. Until clinical trials are better diversified, we will also continue to see therapies working less effectively on people from minority backgrounds. #Cancer #Awareness #LifeSciences #Support #CloseTheCareGap
