In 2004, “Saw,” from director James Wan, who who co-wrote the film with Leigh Whannell, debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, launching one of the greatest horror franchises of all time. Tonight, as the festival marks its final year in Park City, members of the the original ceative team returned to Sundance to celebrate the film where it all began. Blumhouse CFO Josh Small and Atomic Monster founder and CEO James Wan are pictured at tonight’s screening.
