What if AI literacy was your organization’s biggest competitive advantage? That’s the insight from Deloitte AI Institute’s Beena Ammanath on the latest AI-First episode with Box CCO Jon Herstein. After surveying 3,200 global executives, one pattern emerged: companies moving fastest with AI aren’t the ones with the biggest tech budgets — they’re the ones investing most in their people. The data tells a compelling story: • 72% of employees report higher optimism after AI literacy training • Organizations with AI sandboxes see 3x faster adoption rates • Companies treating AI as transformation (not just efficiency) are pulling ahead As Beena shared: “If you’re smart enough to build AI models, you should be smart enough to think about the ways it could be misused.” How is your organization building AI literacy across every level? "All of that data you produce has an incredible wealth of answers to critical questions in it. Now, for the first time ever, you deploy agents at all of that information and you can effectively answer any question that emerges in the business." Aaron Levie spoke with CNBC’s Jon Fortt at Cisco's AI Summit about the future of intelligent automation, and how businesses can tap into their unstructured data. Your sales team shouldn't have to dig through folders to find answers mid-call. Box Hubs AI Chat lets you embed a conversational AI assistant, powered by up to 20,000 files, directly into Salesforce. No custom RAG systems. No vector databases. Just instant, contextual answers from your company's knowledge base. What this unlocks: → Query battle cards, pricing docs, and specs without leaving the Opportunity page → Surface meeting notes and contracts from Account records in seconds → Access troubleshooting guides directly from Case pages The best part? You can set this up with zero coding experience using Visualforce and Lightning App Builder. See how it works 👉 https://bit.ly/4au5MnZ

We spent 6 articles exploring AI transformation. The biggest plot twist? It's not about the AI, it's about who manages it. At Box, we discovered that companies treating AI as a "2-hour-a-week hobby" are failing. The ones succeeding have dedicated AI managers turning experiments into real ROI. Key takeaways from this final article: - AI agents plateau in 45 days without knowledge updates - ROI requires measuring "what didn't happen" - Teams need redesigning, not just AI tools - Performance reviews must reward AI adoption - Set-and-forget AI always fails The reality is every successful AI agent needs a human manager who monitors performance, gathers feedback, updates training, and redesigns workflows. AI transformation isn't about the technology, it's about the people who make it work. Discover how AI managers are reshaping the enterprise: https://lnkd.in/eMtKrZdQ

Last week, we introduced MCP Apps support in the Box Connector on Anthropic's Claude, enabling visual interaction with Box content directly within Claude. Since launch, we’ve already seen a 14% increase in MCP usage as teams start building and testing real workflows. The takeaways are simple: • MCP connects AI models like Claude to enterprise content, securely and in context • Developers can move beyond Q&A to workflows that reason and take action • Open standards reduce friction as AI ecosystems evolve To help teams get started faster, we’ve released a new developer demo video showing how to set up the Box MCP server and begin building with Claude. Watch the demo to learn practical patterns and next steps and read the blog for more. 👉 https://bit.ly/4tcW2G9

Last week, Box Shield Pro introduced AI-driven data classification as the foundation of content protection. If you want to see how that actually works in practice, the Box Shield Pro security session is now available to watch on-demand. In this webinar, we explain how classification moves beyond static labels to become an enforceable control plane, automatically driving access restrictions, sharing policies, and governance as content is created, edited, and shared. You’ll learn how context-aware AI expands coverage to sensitive content that traditional rules miss, and how teams reduce risk without slowing collaboration. Watch to understand how classification initiates the entire content protection lifecycle, from identification to enforcement to compliance 👉 https://bit.ly/4bQ9R7l

Today, Anthropic announced plugins for Claude Cowork, launching with 11 pre-built plugins that combine skills, commands and connectors like Box to define how AI retrieves information and operates inside workflows. Plugins help automate how AI interacts with enterprise systems. In the legal plugin, leverage the Box connector to access content rather than relying on manual uploads or disconnected sources. Because Cowork plugins are fully customizable, users can add Box to any pre-built plugin or build a plugin from scratch, combining Box with additional tools to support more advanced workflows, such as querying, analysis, or data extraction. This approach keeps context persistent, permissions intact, and workflows repeatable. The broader implication is clear: AI is moving from standalone interactions toward agentic workflows that work within established content systems, not around them. Read the announcement to understand how Claude Cowork plugins are designed and how to use them with Box → https://lnkd.in/gQ6w2yb4
