Our School Impact! team recently had the privilege of leading a training session for South Carolina educators to bring the "Civil Rights: A Global Perspective" curriculum to life. The sessions equipped teachers with the tools they need to support students through the curriculum, inspire critical thinking and engage thoughtfully with civil rights history and civic responsibility. Guiding these sessions, Amber M. from our School Impact! team highlighted how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s principles of hope, non-violence, and justice continue to shape teaching, learning and civic engagement today. Learn more about Amber’s experience and how Dr. King’s work informs her role at McGraw Hill.

Educators at Eastern York School District in Pennsylvania are spending less time sorting through data and more time supporting students with McGraw Hill Plus for PreK-12. We’re thrilled to announce the expansion of our McGraw Hill Literacy franchise with the launch of Summit! for grades 6-8 and Soar! for grades 9-12. These core ELA curricula join the previously announced Emerge! for K-5 to establish a comprehensive research-based literacy program that delivers a personalized experience for teachers and students from kindergarten through high school. Summit! and Soar! empower educators to adapt instruction at every stage of the learning journey by drawing on powerful assessment data to create a unique profile that highlights students’ strengths, interests, and areas for growth. This approach enables teachers to deliver targeted instructional recommendations with confidence. Summit! and Soar! will be available to school districts in the United States starting in the 2026-27 school year. Read more about our new literacy program: https://bit.ly/49JwQz8

This morning, McGraw Hill announced that former Vimeo CEO and Google AI executive Philip Moyer will succeed Simon Allen as President and CEO when Simon retires next month. Simon will continue in his role of Chair of the Board and work with Philip and our executive team to ensure a smooth transition and continue to provide input on McGraw Hill’s long-term growth strategies. Philip brings extensive experience in technology and AI-driven transformation to McGraw Hill. He oversaw the launch of an AI-first video strategy that delivered double-digit improvements in revenue and profitability at Vimeo, helped launch Google’s Generative AI strategy and has served in various leadership roles at Amazon and Microsoft throughout his 35+ year career. During Simon’s highly successful tenure as President and CEO, McGraw Hill has experienced significant growth, leading to the important milestone we celebrated last summer when we became a publicly traded company. We are grateful for his leadership during such a momentous time in the company’s history, and the transformation that he enabled through his passion for education, deep knowledge of the industry and devotion to the educators and students we support around the world. Philip takes the lead at a pivotal time as we are expanding our market leadership and harnessing AI in innovative ways to improve the learning experience. We’re thrilled he’ll be joining us to help write the next chapter in McGraw Hill’s long and illustrious history. Thank you, Simon – and welcome to the McGraw Hill family, Philip!
