  • International Women’s Day often brings a lot of big statements about the value of women in business. Most of us don’t need reminding; we see it every day. Strong women don’t just show up with skills, though there’s plenty of that here. Strategy, design, development, analysis, content, leadership. The work speaks for itself. What makes the difference is everything around it. The quiet support networks. The trust that lets someone take the lead. The faith that someone else in the room will challenge an idea, improve it, or back you when something needs pushing forward. Careers aren’t built in isolation. They’re shaped by the people who guide you, the ones who give you space to grow, and the ones who make sure you know you belong in the room. Strong women make other women stronger. We see that play out here every day. #IWD #Internationalwomensday #Strongwomeninbusiness

I joined Business Junction a year ago, and since then I’ve met some genuinely brilliant people from a wide range of industries - Ketan H Raval, Jon Bains, Tutu Popoola and Nicole Bachmann to name a few! Fiona Ross always puts together great events, not only giving people the chance to connect, but also introducing us to some fantastic venues across London 🤩 Their Spring Expo is in Shoreditch next week, 10th March, and I'll be there with Phil Thomas and James Higgs representing Revive.Digital and Rev.01 Studio. There’ll be 75+ exhibitors and around 700 visitors, so it should be a busy one. I’m looking forward to catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new people too. If you’re attending, come and say hello to us - we'll be on stand 43 in the main hall. #networking #londonnetworking #londonbusiness #marketing #branding

  • When Waddle on Sea landed in Southend, we didn’t just sponsor it, we got properly involved. Between Revive and Rev.01 Studio, we supported four penguins across the trail from a digital perspective, alongside managing our own. That meant more than surface-level posting. We worked across design, SEO, social content, competition landing pages and joined-up campaign activity to make sure each penguin had a footprint online as well as on the seafront. For some of our clients, this meant building dedicated pages that drove traffic and entries. For others, it meant shaping content that linked their penguin into wider activity, including Havens Hospices events like Play on the Pitch, so everything felt connected rather than one-off. We were able to support different businesses in different ways, depending on what they needed, whether that was brand exposure, fundraising engagement or long-term digital visibility. And alongside that, we managed our own penguin campaign too, because if we’re in, we’re in. It was a proper collaboration between Revive and Rev.01, creative, technical and strategic teams working together to help local businesses make the most of being part of something that mattered to the community. Waddle on Sea may have finished on the trail, but the digital work behind it carried far further. #digitalmarketing #digitaldesign #communityevent #waddleonsea #southendbusiness

  • We’re proud to be a Partner Sponsor for Play on the Pitch 2026, alongside seven other brilliant Southend businesses and Barclays. On 14th May at 5:30pm, we’ll all be back at Roots Hall doing what we do every year, pretending we’ve still got it, raising money for Havens Hospices and taking the rivalry very seriously. We’ve also secured the first of our special guests… Alexis LOS. Come on. This year we’re aiming to break the £50k mark for the first time ever. We’ve come close before. This feels like the year. No big speeches. Just a lot of local businesses showing up and trying to make a difference, with a bit of competitive spirit thrown in for good measure.

  • A strong collaboration between Rev.01 Studio and the Revive web team resulted in the launch of The Foil, a new media platform dedicated to racing on the water. The project began with a naming and strategy session in September, where the brand name The Foil was agreed. Rev.01 Studio led the brand development, creating a sharp, future-facing identity aligned with the pace and technical nature of competitive sailing. Revive then delivered the web build from the ground up. With no existing platform to adapt, the team developed a data-driven system capable of supporting multiple events, seasons and competitions, including detailed breakdowns of crews, teams, countries and championships. The structure was designed to scale, allowing for coverage across SailGP, the America’s Cup, regattas, round-the-world sailing, model yacht shows and e-sailing. With editor Damien Smith in post, the platform was refined to support real-time reporting and editorial workflows. The site launched on 12th January 2026, with live coverage from the SailGP event in Perth just five days later. A clear example of brand, strategy and technical delivery working together to support an ambitious new media venture.

  • You may have seen recent headlines about Meta introducing a paid, ad-free option for Facebook and Instagram, so we wanted to share a bit of context around what this actually means. 👇🏻 At the moment, this is simply an optional subscription for users who’d prefer to browse without ads. Most people are expected to stay on the free, ad-supported platforms, and from a performance point of view, paid social is continuing to run as normal. This isn’t something becoming law overnight or a sudden change that breaks campaigns. It’s part of a wider shift we’ve been seeing for a while, platforms responding to regulation, privacy expectations and user choice. In practice, it reinforces the importance of good fundamentals rather than creating new problems. Strong strategy, thoughtful creatives and a clear understanding of audiences are what drive results, and that hasn’t changed. Paid social isn’t disappearing, and there’s no need for knee-jerk budget changes or concern. This is an evolution, not a disruption. We’re keeping a close eye on how things develop so our clients don’t have to, and we’ll continue adapting where needed to keep performance strong and decision-making clear. #digitalmarketing #paidsocial #socialmediamarketing #marketingstrategy #industryupdate

  • You might have seen headlines this week about the UK government considering a social media ban for under 16s, so here’s a quick, clear update on where things currently stand. The House of Lords has voted in favour of an amendment that would require social media platforms to prevent under 16s from accessing their services. This doesn’t make it law yet, but it does mean the proposal now moves back to the House of Commons for further debate and decision. If it were to progress, platforms would be expected to introduce stronger age-verification measures, with the aim of reducing exposure to online harms and shifting more responsibility onto the platforms themselves, rather than parents and schools alone. There’s still a long way to go, and nothing has been finalised. MPs may accept, amend or reject the proposal, and any changes would take time to implement. As a digital agency working in social media every day, we think it’s important to stay informed, understand how these conversations are evolving, and help businesses and communities navigate what comes next. We’ll continue to keep an eye on developments and share updates as things move forward. #digitalsafety #socialmediamarketing #onlinesafety #ukpolicy #industryupdate #revivedigital

  • 2016 gets talked about a lot. Partly because it felt like a cultural reset, and partly because it took a few icons with it. David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince, Carrie Fisher, Harper Lee… the list goes on. It felt seismic at the time, like something had properly shifted. Meanwhile, a little closer to home, these faces were busy becoming who they are now. Building businesses, finding their feet, and figuring things out in real time. Early content experiments were happening (hello, Eliza and the Snapchat dog filter), pouts were being perfected (Rich… we need to talk), and somewhere in there, you might even spot an early Revive logo clinging on to James’ shirt for dear life. 2016 is trending again because it was a turning point for a lot of people. For us, it marks the start of paths that eventually led here, careers taking shape, ideas forming, confidence growing, and a fair bit of trial and error along the way. So here’s a little throwback collage of some familiar faces, a reminder that everyone starts somewhere. And yes, we’re choosing to ignore the fact that Jordan, in his school uniform, is about to make the 80s babies feel ancient. You’re welcome. #2016 #creativeagency #digitalmarketinglife #linkedincommunity
