An unbelievable start to Singapore Air Show! Shield AI was honored to have our Co-Founder and President Brandon Tseng take the stage alongside incredible organizations, such as ST Engineering, ahead of the signing ceremony to celebrate another partner utilizing Hivemind Enterprise to deliver AI-enabled sovereign mission autonomy to Singapore. We are here the rest of this week so please swing by booth C-X67 to learn more about all we are doing across the globe!

  • Live from Singapore Airshow: we are partnering with ST Engineering to support Singapore’s next-generation autonomous defense capabilities! Together, we will integrate Hivemind across ST Engineering platforms and evaluate use of the Hivemind SDK to advance autonomous operations and enable the sovereign design, testing, and deployment of mission autonomy. “The ability to develop and field intelligent systems at speed and scale is becoming central to how nations build and sustain defense capability, especially as they seek to deter threats without relying on large standing forces. As Singapore focuses on these priorities, ST Engineering is a natural fit, and we’re excited about what we can accomplish together with Hivemind to deliver autonomy on programs today and enable long-term, sovereign autonomy development.” - Brandon Tseng, Shield AI’s Co-Founder and President Read the full press release: https://lnkd.in/e9Q7sCFA Autonomy for the world. 🔘 Dear Nataliia, could you tell us about your background and the pivot towards defense tech? Nataliia: I didn’t move into defense because it was fashionable - I moved because it became unavoidable. Before joining Shield AI, I worked extensively with international companies operating in Ukraine. And after February 2022, I watched businesses, engineers, and ordinary employees become part of national resilience - sometimes overnight. At that time the question for me became: where can my experience unlock the greatest real-world impact? And here we are - I am with Shield AI, focusing on protecting service members and civilians with autonomous systems. Defense today is not only about weapons. It is about technology, autonomy, data, and protecting and saving human lives. Today, my work is about ensuring advanced autonomy and AI reach those defending their country - faster, safer, and at scale - while also helping build an ecosystem that can survive war and shape recovery. And I am very proud that I can contribute to my country in this way. 🔘How does the experience of an ambitious American neo-prime implements into the fast-paced Ukrainian ecosystem? Nataliia: There is a real matching of both product development and delivery that a neo-prime can bring to the Ukrainian ecosystem. For Shield AI, it is about being able to pivot rapidly to new threats and requirements to protect soldiers and deliver on missions. The war here has shown how quickly things can change - what is cutting-edge technology today can be completely outdated in just weeks or months. The company’s commitment to staying in Ukraine has meant we have the latest and best information to continually improve our technology in a way others have not learned from. Staying engaged in Ukraine is not only a strategic decision, but an operational one. It allows the company to receive direct, unfiltered feedback from frontline users and operational environments, and to translate that feedback into concrete technological improvements at a speed that would be impossible from afar. This level of responsiveness ensures that systems evolve in step with real battlefield conditions, not theoretical ones. Both Shield AI and Ukrainian industry are learning from each other, and both are receiving great benefits from this relationship. 🔘 Which changes are required to make ambitious unmanned systems like the X-Bat operational in Ukraine? Nataliia: I think we are probably a long way from seeing the X-BAT operational in Ukraine. There would be many political decisions to be made by both the US and Ukraine, but the biggest might be around how aerial military operations take place. Since 2022, the war in the air in Ukraine has not been what people would have previously thought it would be - no dogfights or large operations involving many aircraft. Air forces have had to either operate at a distance or fly very low to achieve their missions. Continue reading below 🔽

  • The Greeks are V-BAT power users! V-BAT first flew in Greece in 2020. Today, the latest-block version of V-BAT provides maritime domain awareness across the country, supporting real-world operations critical to Greece’s security and sovereignty. Alongside Ukraine, Greece is at the leading edge of drone operations in Europe. Our President and Co-Founder Brandon Tseng spent time with the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Choupis, Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, and the Army Signals Directorate team that operates Greek drone forces, to learn more about how V-BAT continues to support their ISR missions.
