LinkedIn Learning video player controls are located at the bottom of each player window. Review the FAQs below to learn more about LinkedIn Learning video playback controls:

Click the
Play icon in the left corner of the video player to start a video. -
Click the
Pause icon to pause the video.

You can see how much of the video has played in the video progress bar.

You can see timestamps for the video by moving your cursor over the progress bar.

You can also move ahead or back in the video by clicking on a different progress point on the bar.
Important to know
You must complete 70 percent of a video for it to be marked as "Complete" (with a green check mark).
Most Learning videos are available with closed captions, or text subtitles for the video dialogue.

To turn on closed captions for a Learning Video, click the button at the bottom right of the video player.

To turn them off, click the button again.

Here's a tip
The button turns orange if you turn closed captioning on.
Move your cursor over the
Playback speed is set to normal speed, or 1x. You can view Learning videos at a range of different speeds from twice as fast, 2x, to half the normal speed, 0.5x.
To change the playback speed of the video:

Click the
Settings icon in the bottom right of the video player. -
Under Playback Speed, select the playback speed you'd like.
Changing your video quality may allow you to more easily view videos from different network connections or internet speeds. 720pHD is the highest quality, but will take the longest time to load. 360p is the lowest video quality setting available, and will load the fastest.
To change the video quality setting:

Click the
Settings icon in the bottom right of the video player. -
Under Video Quality, select the setting you'd like.
Most Learning courses consist of a series of videos. The continuous Auto Play feature allows videos in the same course to automatically start playing when the previous video ends for a continuous learning experience.
To turn Auto Play on or off:

Click the
Settings icon in the bottom right of the video player. -
Under Auto Play, select ON or OFF.

To view videos in full screen, click the
Full Screen icon in the bottom right corner of the video player. -
To exit full screen viewing, press the Escape button on your keyboard.
