Program Coordinator

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Program Coordinator for a nonprofit organization supporting membership and outreach initiatives. This part-time role is based in Lower Manhattan, with two days onsite and one remote day per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Program Coordinator will provide administrative and program support to senior leadership. This role ensures smooth workflow, timely communication, and organized coordination across programs and membership initiatives. The position is part-time (approximately 25 hours per week) and temporary, with potential extension based on organizational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative and calendar support to the Chief and Director of Membership & Outreach.
• Assist with program coordination and membership outreach initiatives.
• Maintain documents, reports, and communications using CRM or productivity tools.
• Support meeting preparation, follow-up, and scheduling logistics.
• Organize workflow and provide proactive support during the interim staffing period.
• Ensure clear, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Administrative or program coordination experience.
• Experience supporting senior leadership or multiple stakeholders.
• Background in nonprofit, membership, or program-focused environments.
• Highly organized, proactive, and responsive with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable navigating CRM systems and productivity platforms (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This temporary, part-time position offers $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
