About The Job
The Product & Marketing team at WillScot is looking for a passionate and dynamic Web Content Specialist to support the delivery of digital content for next gen experiences on our external websites and internal associate facing applications and websites. You will directly support the Marketing organization in managing the website to improve user experience and drive marketing KPI’s.
As a Web Content Specialist, you will be working directly within our Content Management System(s) (Contentful, Salesforce Experience Cloud, Wordpress, etc.) and play a key role in a potential migration to a new platform.
What You'll Be Doing
Update content on website(s) using CMS (Contentful, Wordpress)
Test web pages during development stage to ensure functionality and desired look and feel.
Support business stakeholders and implement improvements in web functionality, content, navigation, and UI design elements.
Serve as an informal functional tester for web UI design projects.
Utilize technical knowledge to produce achievable and efficient solutions.
Resolve technical issues or bugs on the website.
Work in partnership with marketing team, cross-departmental teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
Provide user interface (UI) design services, including designing highly usable web page/site layout, navigation, and content elements while maximizing system performance. Translates business requirements and user needs into UI designs.
Produce mockups in Figma and/or Contentful as needed
Has working knowledge of user-centered design principles, visual design, user behavior, and interactions.
Considers every aspect of the user's experience, with business and marketing goals, to coordinate and deliver design, prototype, and research documentation.
Analyzes data and user feedback to make key design decisions.

Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Digital Product Design, Digital Marketing, UI/UX Design
3-7 year’s experience as a website coordinator or specialist in an agency or corporate marketing environment.
Demonstrated creation of UX deliverables (Wireframes, prototypes, site maps, user flows) required.
Digital Portfolio of design work – Please provide URL in application.
Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted to multiple audiences and modalities.
Preferred Attributes
Results oriented; drive and desire to build a design career (marketing, user experience design); Time management skills, in addition to:
Experience using Contentful (or other similar CMS), and Bynder (or other DAM)
Technical experience to troubleshoot and resolves issues for web and mobile app
Experience with web design software such as Figma, Sketch, XD and Adobe Creative Creative Cloud
Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted to multiple audiences.
Effectively communicates verbal, written, and designed content.
Experience in website design & development and design for enterprise-wide digital solutions
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, etc., for office environment; ability to be on phones majority of business day.

Corporate Office, this is an in-office role; not hybrid.
