Resistance fighter Joe leaves German-occupied New York and meets Juliana, a woman from the Japanese Pacific States with a perplexing newsreel.

Juliana meets a potential Resistance contact, and Joe continues with his mission. Frank faces brutal questioning over Juliana's departure.

Joe and Juliana prepare to flee Canon City while the Marshal, a bounty hunter, tracks them. Frank devises a plan to upend Japanese rule.

Torn between his feelings and duty, Joe continues his search with Juliana. In the Reich, senior SS leader John Smith suspects there's a mole in his unit.

Juliana returns home to a dejected Frank. The Japanese Imperial Guard begins an investigation, and Joe recounts his time in Colorado.

Juliana takes a job with Minister Tagomi and continues to search for answers. The VA Day celebration at Smith's house comes with a dose of subterfuge.

Smith interrogates Joe about Canon City and develops a new plan. Juliana spots a familiar face at the market.

Frank looks for a way out of the Pacific States as Kido closes in. Juliana helps Joe with a plan to get a film reel from the Yakuza.

Smith confides in an officer and entrusts him with a message. Frank puts his escape plan on hold to help Juliana save Joe from his captors.

Frank, Juliana and Joe come to blows over the film. Smith walks headlong into danger to unravel a conspiracy.
