Preheat oven to 450F. 2. In a large bowl, combine muffin mix and buttermilk until smooth. (If using regular milk, only use about 3/4 to 1 cup. Batter should be thick but still pourable.) 3. Add melted butter to a 9x9 baking dish. Pour batter over melted butter. Smooth the top using a spatula and cut into 9 or 12 squares. 4.
