Make this super easy bitmap effect in Illustrator! Write your text or add an image. Go to Appearance and add Fill and Stroke. With Fill selected, click on the Gradient tool and add a gradient. Go to Effects, Blur, and add Gaussian Blur. Click on Rasterize, set the background to White, model to Bitmap, and resolution to Other. You can disable Stroke and experiment with values and gradients to get the result you like the most. Your bitmap is ready - and it’s super quick!

Create a grunge effect in Photoshop! 📎Create a text layer and switch the Fill to 0. 📎Duble click on the layer, add Drop Shadow with size 6. 📎Add a second Drop Shadow with size 12. 📎And, add a third Drop Shadow, with size 24. Repeat this as many times as necessary for a perfect result. 📎Now, add a texture, select ‘Overlay’, and add another texture. 📎Add a Gradient Map. 📎Add a new layer, choose the grey color, a brush and add shadows to your composition. Your grunge effect is ready!

Create this halftone text effect in Photoshop! Add text and convert it to a smart object. Add a new layer and paint it white. Convert it to a smart object too. Go to Filter Gallery and add a line Halftone Pattern. Customize to change the line size. Change the blending mode of the layer. Add a Gaussian blur to your text. Here you can invert colors, add a gradient map and curves to make colors more intense. Add a solid with 50% grey. Add noise to it and change the blending mode. You can finish the look with Clouds, High Pass and Torn Edges effects to make the word a bit worn. Our halftone text is ready!
