A replica of the calculating machine of Johann Helfrich Müller from 1784. It could add, multiply, divide and subtract. And it even had a warning bell if you tried to subtract a larger number from a smaller.

The Antikythera Celestial Machine

Pascal's Calculator (1670). A mechanical calculator that could add and subtract, built by the philosopher Blaise Pascal in the 1670s. The system of cranks and gears is comparable in complexity to the Antikythera mechanism from 1000 years earlier.

EAI 180 from "Electronic Associates Incorporated", New Jersey, is a so called hybrid computer (hybris [greek]: From twofold parentage), year of manufacture 1970. It contains the parts of an analoge computer and these from a digital computer. The device is equipped with IC's from the first generation (DTL-technology). The calculation circuit is plugged with cables on the front panel. The cycle time from the analoge part can be set to less than 10ms....
