German Christmas baking starts early in November and lasts until there's enough goodies to enjoy, both during the Advent and Christmas season. The warm and wonderful fragrance of Lebkuchen spices fill the air. This spice is used in many traditional cookies and cakes, with the Lebkuchen cookies being the most popular. Dresden Stollen is traditional, but other stollens are also easy to make. Marzipan in various cookies and cakes. Tortes, cakes, cookies, desserts. Frohe Weihnachten
