Using a Microscope to Study Mushrooms (MushroomExpert.Com)
2010 was the Year of the Mushroom for me. I became intensely curious about them and their life cycle. I never picked them or ate them, but enjoyed sketching or photographing them. The sketches on these pages of the different aspects of mushrooms were based on a mushroom guidebook, a heavy tome I didn't want to carry while hiking. How to Use the Microscope, How to Make a Wet Mount, Drawing Specimens, How to Stain a Slide, and more | Biology Corner (Module #1)
Found on TpT but you could do this kind of thing with your own notes...This Giant Foldable (2 pieces of 8.5"x11" paper taped together) provides students with a large enough area to write down all the functions of the parts of the microscope in one place. Students LOVE the large size and it creates a great review sheet as well as coloring activity. Perfect for interactive notebooks or it can be hole punched and put into a binder.
