Day 29: A-Z pixel art challenge, letter B - here are two basic benches. Can't remember the last time I sat on a bench, I used to spend a lot of time on park benches as a teenager 😅 when's the last time you sat on a park bench? Day 39: A-Z pixel art challenge, letter K for keys keys keys Drew a bunch of different keys, thought I'd make a bronze/iron/gold key for fun but honestly, I think the first 2 keys are my favourite... They feel a bit more realistic. Keys always add a bit of mystery and fun to games! What will these keys be for? Day 40: Appreciation post for reaching 500 followers! When I started posting my work on here I didn't really expect anybody to notice, I just wanted a sort of online diary to document my progress but I got involved with a lovely community and I've met some really cool people. I'm super grateful for everybody I've met and everybody that follows me! It's been a fun 40 days of being relatively consistent and I'm going to continue on this path for a while. Day 38: I did nothing yesterday because I was tired. A-Z pixel art challenge, letter J! Here is a little journal that will be the UI for quests/recipes/other things! I really need to work on understanding colours but I'm too lazy to learn about it so I just pick a bunch of colours and try to wing it... I started drawing a regular inn and then I thought of an idea to make the inn worn down and out of business, so that the player can help the owner rebuild it and get it back up and running. Day 35: this song made me laugh, I love beeeees A-Z pixel art challenge, letter H. Honey bees, honey jar and a (bee) hive. Not strictly starting with H but they'll do... As for coding, I think I'll be learning web development for longer than I anticipated (JS React is confusing) For the letter I, I'm going to draw an inn to add more building assets for my game. I have this idea for my game that you can grow flax and to be able to pick it, you need to unlock/find a pair of gloves! 🧤 Haven't thought about how they're unlocked yet.. maybe a side mission or purchasable in a shop?
