Explore #422 - 21.12.2008 Another shot of the mysterious Ohingaiti Boulders : these ones look like eggs with trees growing out of them... I can't find out much about them but apparently they are septerian concretions created over thousands of years under the sea. During the years undersea, these perfectly rounded boulders were probably slowly formed while been whisked around on the sea-floor with sea-shells, which dissolved and supplied minerals which hardened the surrounding material...
