I like to add Squash casserole to my Thanksgiving lunch. It is delicious and easy to bake. I have included the recipe if you would like to try it👍
4 C sliced squash (4lb)
1 C shredded sharp chedder cheese
1 C shredded parmessan cheese
1/2 C whole milk
1 C sour cream
1 egg
3 Tbs butter melted
1 medium onion sliced
2 cloves garlic chopped
2 Tbs dry chives,
1/2 C fresh parsley chooped
1 C panko bread crumbs plus 2 Tsp for topping.
Add squash slices and onion slices to a pot of boiling water for about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove and drain. Add to egg and sour cream mixture. Butter your casserole dish finish with breadcrumbs and cheddar cheese.
Preheat 350° Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
