Question 4
(i) Calculate the interest earned and the amount due, if a sum of ₹
15000 is invested
for 1 years at 8 % per annum compound interest, interest being
compounded
semi - annually.
(ii) P is the mid point of BD. ∠ABP =
∠CDP and ∠BPC = ∠DPA.
Prove that AB = CD.
(iii) The ratio of the number of sides of two

(i) Ramesh invests ₹12,500 for two years at the rate of 12% p.a. compound
interest. Find:

(ii) A two digit number is six times the sum of its digits. If the digit in the
