-visited my tuition kids and played games with them
-elective weekend is super slack
-cny week coming up!

CNY is coming!
my favourite festive season of the year! the bottle of prawn rolls have arrived at my house and they are really nice this time! (: i don’t know if that’s a good thing for me though… 😛
3 more working days to CNY! woohoooooo 😀
3 more weeks to the land of awesome shopping, massage and food!
3 more months to living in an apartment w/o a shower head!

Still a mess!
my hols are ending with electives starting coming Monday and my things are still in a big mess. i havent gotten down to packing, re-organizing, changing files etc etc… all the things that i’ve planned to do while studying havent quite materialised! this is the first time in a really really long time that i actually feel well-rested over a 2 weeks break, maybe because i’ve nothing to really worry/think about since it’s just electives after that. I still rem that the previous 3 weeks break felt barely sufficient, but it feels positively different this time 😀
and while i feel a lil excited starting electives since it was my choice and i’m doing it in a nice hospital with an awesome (i heard) tutor, i obviously would prefer being on hols forever! i’ve come to realise that there’s no such thing as being bored/sick of hols since there will always be things to do, or at the very least, can always find things to do.
anyway, i experimented with some cooking today..and i think they are edible at the very least. hurhurhur i will improve! and hopefully will be good enough by the time i go to Edinburgh 😛 though i must say that cooking is really tiring! from the preparation to the cooking to the washing/clearing up (i didnt do it this time but i can just imagine).. and i slept for 6 hours after that. Utmost respect to all chefs out there! (:

many days of fun
since patho ended… life has been more than awesome! 😀
but somehow i’ve been having so much fun that i can’t rem how the days are spent/what i did a few days back. times flies when we’re having fun but slows to a snail’s pace when we’re doing boring things like studying for patho a week back. my memory is really failing me cos i can’t even rem what i did last thurs! i only know i’ve been drinking lots of bubble tea, baking at patty’s baking school, going to NEX manymanyMANY times, babysitting/visiting my bestie, bowling, planning for hols and eatingeating&eating.
how i wish such days never ever end.. cos i’m not bored yet and am really enjoying myself 😀 and i dont really wanna start electives yet cos 1) i’m lazy i wanna rest more 2) i know time will FLY by during electives and it’d be the start of final year very very soon =X
for now, i should just enjoy the last few days b4 elective starts next week for me.

I was feeling emo so i started reminiscing about the year that just passed, what i did, how i spent it etc. And i decided that it went by WAY TOO QUICKLY. I don’t even know how that happened, did the days become shorter?
No seriously i’m not exaggerating it felt like it was just a month ago when i was in Taiwan braving the winter cold and eating very cheap street food! And my last memory of med sch was sadly, microbiology. which was 2 years ago!
What happened to 2010?
I think i preferred 2009 to 2010. Hopefully 2011 will bring along something more worthy to remember. And i really really really hope that time wouldn’t fly by so quickly again.
Miserable Sunday
Studying for patho is becoming extremely miserable 😦 really really really CAN’T WAIT FOR IT TO BE OVER.
Then I can:
-pack and file my things
-explore all the nice food places
-go shopping
-blogsurf aimlessly without feeling like I am wasting my life away
-meet up with friendsssss
-live the life of a pri sch kid and take endless naps
