This is the view from a ferry heading toward Seattle. I was getting ready to visit my son.

This picture is a silhouette of Stormagedden, the Dark Lady of All, age 1-year old, taken in 2022. Many evenings, when I turned on the television, she would jump on my dresser and sit herself in front of screen. Sometimes, she would watch the screen. Most of the time she would just sit like she’s sitting in this picture.

Thanks for my new bed, Mommy!
For Linda G. Hill’s One Liner Wednesday.

While visiting my cousin’s son in Sacramento, we were taking a stroll and heard a noise coming from behind some shrubbery. We found an ideal spot to see what was roaring and I snapped this pic of a company setting up for a touring dinosaur exhibit in 2021.

For Johnbo’s Cellpic Sunday — this picture is from 4 years ago. Stormagedden, the Dark Lady of All, loved to try and get on the kitchen counters. She couldn’t jump that high, so her solution was to use the drawers like a ladder. One day, I was doing the dishes and felt her next to me. Luckily, I had my phone within reach and was able to grab this picture..

I have kept many mementos throughout my life. Some, I have sadly forgotten when, where, and sometimes even who they represent. Others, though, I’m happy to still have, especially my photographs.
The following photograph, of my brother, my cousin Dave (who had just passed away), his brother, John (RIP), and me, is from 1959. My mother, brother and I had flown from Michigan to California, to visit family. The four of us became fast and best friends on this trip.

Posted with inspiration from Fandango’s One-Word Challenge.

Johnbo “invite fellow bloggers to join in by creating their own Cellpic Sunday posts. There’s no set theme—the only rule is that your photo must be captured with a cell phone, iPad, or other mobile device. The second rule is simple: link your challenge response to this post or drop a comment here with your link so others can find it.“
I find many aspects of nature very fascinating. This picture I snapped of a tree I saw while camping with a friend in 2023, with it’s twisted branches, filled me with awe.
