Why does Cupid wield a bow and arrow? Why can’t his weapons be nunchucks, knives, guns, dynamite, ninja stars, flamethrower, a bazooka on his shoulder/ a battleaxe, chainsaw, or swords? (but then again these are not romantic of course.) Maybe the bow symbolizes a vagina (or a tight vagina, since there is tightness in the string of the bow), while the arrow symbolizes a penis (or something phallic) that rubs along and slides inside the vagina (or bow).
