I was able to attend the most beautiful birth recently. Ryan and Susie decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise, and everyone in that hospital room was ecstatic to find out that after 3 girls their last baby was a BOY!
Susie did amazing! The nurse was hesitant to call the doctor in because Susie was just so happy. The only way you could tell when she was having a contraction was when she'd go quiet and put her head down. At 11:51am weighing 7 pounds 7ounces and 19 1/2" long a little blondie baby boy was born. I think he looks a lot like his sisters. This little boy will definitely not be lacking in the motherly love department, that's for sure!
I'm so grateful to have been able to be a part of this experience. The doctor asked if Susie and were sisters (we look nothing alike), I think it was more that I was getting completely emotional and at times could barely see through the tears to take pictures. I love being able to witness such an incredible miracle.
