Fluffy, Fat, Festive little Robins

Happy 2017! Things have been quiet on the blog lately - oops! I haven't been able to share much for the last few months as most things aren't due to be published until later THIS year! Hopefully I can share more soon.

Here are some fat little festive robins I did for fun over the holidays :)

Pattern Design // Honey Bee & Bumble Bees | Watercolour illustration bumblebee patterns

EDIT 03/01/24 - re-added artwork with watermarks. If you would like to use these illustrations and/or patterns please contact me, thank you :)

As a little side project I've been working towards perfecting the art of "repeat patterns", which I hope will help me create a variety of decorative fabrics and products with my illustrations. Some of the first I've put together are based on this small series of pollen-dusted bee paintings. Let me know if you like them.

Fluffy Bumblebees

And I couldn't forget the iconic Honey Bee. I wanted this one to be quite symmetrical to create a more uniform pattern.

And just for fun, a fat bumblebee!

Peacock Feather Design and Pattern

Peacock feathers are just.. one of many obsessions! I played around with the initial design before trying to capture some of the amazing colours with my watercolours. I hope to find a use for this design in the future!
