Preparing...

...for hunting season that is. Heath and the men have been shooting bows and guns in preparation for the upcoming deer hunting season. For the next few months my husband will be dressed in camouflage and spending more time in the woods than he will out.
The kids feel differently about all of the practice that has been going on. AR is terrified of the gun shots and covers her ears while she watches from the front door. Westin, on the other, wants to be right in the middle of it. We constantly have to pull him away from the target because he wants as close to the action as he can get.
Saturday morning was a little chilly so we all enjoyed the beautiful morning outdoors...just a little more bundled up. I am so excited about the cool weather moving in. It can't get here and stay here fast enough!
Daddy picked up a weed/grass and stuck it in his mouth. This little cutie caught on and spent the rest of the morning doing this...
While the next few months are my favorite time of the year because of the weather changing and the holidays, hunting season is my least favorite time. I have to adjust to having less help from Daddy during day light hours and making sure not to make any plans before dark. There is only one great thing about hunting season: I get away with a lot more shopping!!

Welcome Fall!!
