HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 to my beautiful readers! <3 These are the nails I made for new years celebrations. :)
I went to manicure at 25th and the polish was still flawless so I just decorated the nails. :)
I wanted them to look like fireworks... So I started off with silver and gold nail art polishes...
...and finished the nails with LOTS of glitter! :D
Writing with my left hand felt too challenging so I just put the 2012 on thumb. :P
It's amazing how fast last year went by, and how much happened to me! Luckily mostly good things. ;) I moved abroad and I have met so many amazing people I never even dreamed about. Last year was definitely unforgettable, and I wouldn't change a thing! I just hope that this year will be as good for everyone. x)
Polishes I used: H&M "Gold" and CND "VIP Status" to add some sparkle. :)
These were my christmas nails! I wanted something quite simple but christmasy, so I used colors that remind me of christmas, gold and red. :) I really liked the result, and I had these on for quite long, since even the rhinestone stayed on. :)

Mermaid nails this time! :D I used one of my favorite polishes, Halley's Comet by Orly. It's simply gorgeus! x) I dipped the tips in glitter and added few tear-shaped rhinestones on ring finger, and that's it! Simple, but I love the result! ^^
Merenneitokynnet tällä kertaa! ^^ Käytin Orlyn Halley's Cometia, aivan ihana lakka! x) Eli pari kerrosta värilakkaa, dippasin kärjet glitteriin kun lakka oli vielä kosteaa, ja lopuksi muutama strassi nimettömään. :) Yksinkertaista, mutta tykkään! ^^
Haha I know I said I'll post something new this time but this is another design from summer. :D
This was quite a lot of work because I had to place every tiny sequin one at a time... :'D My original idea was to do all the nails as the ring finger, but I was too lazy... And I figured it might be too much. And then I only kept this on my nails for a day! :'DD Not that I didn't like them, I just had new inspiration... :D
I used H&M 'Gold' and sticked the sequins on when the polish was still wet. ^^
Pidin näitä lakkoja vain päivän, vaikka näiden tekemiseen meni aika paljon aikaa... :'D Käytin pohjana H&Mn Gold -lakkaa, ja tökin sitten nuo mini-paljetit yksitellen märkään lakkaan. Tykkäsin näistä kyllä, mutta sain uuden idean ja oli pakko vaihtaa. :DD

They don't sell my favorite nail glue anymore, and this new one is driving me crazy.... >_< I can't remember the name, but it was pink gel glue. This new one isn't gel-like as the old one, so it's more difficult to apply easily... I had nail glue all over my cuticles. :< I like the result though! ^^
I think I'll post some newer designs next time, I have loads of pics in my camera! ::D
Jälleen yhdet kynnet kesältä! Seuraavaksi julkaisen varmaan jotain vähän uudempaa, kamera on taas täynnä uusia kuvia... :'D Näihin käytin kuitenkin melko vanhaa Creativen lakkaa, nimi oli muistaakseni Baroque. Blingejä liimasin vain nimettömään, koska vanha kynsiliimani loppui enkä tykkää uudesta... :< Tietääkö kukaan mistä saa niitä kynsiliimoja mitä Seppälässä myytiin ennen?? En muista nimeä, mutta pakkauksessa luki ainakin pink gel glue. :P Tämä uusi nimittäin leviää helposti pitkin kynsinauhoja... :'D
Long time no see! I'm sorry for being a little absent, but I've had lot to do lately... :P I'm coming back to Finland soon, and I want to enjoy being here as much as I can. And I've been shopping... I hope it's going to be warm in Finland when I finally get there, because I've bought so much cute summer clothes! :'D And I can't wear them here without leggings and bolero to cover my knees and shoulders (respectful clothing), and it's getting a little annoying, because I dislike the shorts/leggings combination. :P So better be so warm in Finland that I can wear shorts and tops!! Also because it's so hot in here (today already 49 C) that even 20 degrees which is warm in Finland, will feel freezing cold... ;__;
Okay, now for the nails:
I love summer! Sun and warmness (that even a word? :'D) make me want to do something super cute and colorful! :D
I used my favorite turquoise polish, Halley's Comet, and the new Sinful Colors polish I bought recently. They are very sparkly! <3 Polishes I used:
H&M Pink Mist, Orly Halley's Comet and Sinful Colors Nail Junkie + made the dots with my white Rimmel polish and dotting tool.
Oh, someone asked when I'll do the post about myself! If there's still someone wondering about that, I'll do it when (if) my blog reaches 200 followers. ;)
Viime aikoina on ollut vähän kiireitä, sillä olen tulossa Suomeen kesälomalle, ja haluan nauttia täällä olosta vielä kun voin. :'D Näihin kynsiin käytin Orlyn Halley's Cometia, joka on ihanin turkoosi lakka tällä hetkellä... <3 Ensin lakkasin yhden kerroksen H&Mn Pink Mistillä, ja sen päälle tein kiemurat Orlylla. Sitten laitoin yhden ohuen kerroksen Sinful Colorsin Nail Junkieta, ja sen päälle vielä pisteitä Rimmelin valkoisella lakalla ja dotting toolilla. Kesällä tulee tehtyä ihanan värikkäitä kynsiä! Tykkään näistä tosi paljon, seuraavaksi ajattelin että voisin viilata noita vähän lyhyemmäksi ja tehdä taas jotain värikästä... ^^
This manicure was pretty hard to photograph... The baby blue lace pattern didn't really show up in pics, but you can tell that it's there, right? :'D
The first picture is taken today. It's now over two weeks since I took the henna tattoos, and as you can see, it's almost faded away. :< It lasted quite long, though! In my feet he tattoo hasn't faded that much. Couple days ago it was still like new... :D Well, here are my nails about week ago:
There the tattoo is about 1 week old, and it starts to fade from the finger tips.
I used two coats of H&M Pink Mist first, then I did white gradient to the tips by sponging Rimmel - London Clouds. Then I stamped the baby blue lace pattern with konads, I used the plate m71. Finally I polished three coats of OPI - Last Friday Night to the tips (over the white polish).

I didn't like these nails that much at first, because they're not exactly what I had planned, but now I've had this design on my nails for a week and I have to say that I really like it! :D It was also nice to have something blue on my nails, because yesterday...
FINLAND WON THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF ICE HOCKEY!
...and that was the first time since 1995, when we won last time. 16 years ago... :P That was very sweet, because Sweden had won so many times and they were confident that they would win this year too, but we kicked their ass 1-6! xD I'm not a big fan of ice hockey, but hey, it's the world championship we're talking about. ;)
Besides, it's nice to win something after our Eurovision fail... xD Haha, everyone in Finland seemed to be so sure that we would win, but actually we were almost last! Well, I didn't really think the song would be good enough to actually win the whole thing, but... 21st? Fail! :'D Here's the top three:
1. Azerbaijan - Running scared
2. Italy - Follia D'Amore (Madness of love)
3. Sweden - Popular
What do you think? If you watched the Eurovisions, do think that the right songs made it to the top? I think the winner song was pretty good, although it was a little when you heard it many times. I didn't have any huge favorites, but I liked the England's song and Ireland was funny. ^^
En aluksi oikein tykännyt näistä kynsistä, koska niistä ei tullut ihan sellaiset kuin olin sunnitellut... :P Nyt minulla on kutenkin ollut ne jo viikon, ja tykkään niistä itseasiassa aika paljon! ^^ Kuvissa näkyy myös mitä hennatatuoinnille kuuluu, nyt se on jo haalistunut melkein kokonaan pois käsistä, jaloissa se on vielä aika hyvässä kunnossa. Tatska kesti viikon hyväkuntoisena, ja alkoi sitten haalistua. Ylimmässä kuvassa näkyy tämänpäiväinen tilnne. :) Alle laitoin kaksi kerrosta H&Mn Pink Mistiä, ja töpöttelin kärkiin Rimmelin London Cloudsia. Sitten leimasin konadeilla (laatta m71) vaaleansiniset pitsikuviot kynsien tyveen. Kärkiin laitoin vielä kolme kerrosta OPIn Last Friday Nightia. Oli muuten kiva olla siniset kynnet eilen kun Suomi voitti lätkän mm-kultaa! :D En yleensä seuraa lätkää, mutta nyt päätin katsoa kun kaikki muut olivat niin tohkeissaan... Ja kyllä kannatti! 1-6, hyvä Suomi! ;D Varsinkin tuon Euroviisufailin jälkeen... Katsoitteko viisut, ja mitä mieltä olitte kärkikolmikosta? Oliko lemppareita? ;)

Heh, that's a lot of sparkle for me. ^^ I used ready rhinestone stickers for toe nails, I forgot to take a picture but I've used them here before. I love them, and they cost only 7 dhs from Daiso!
The polish is one of my favorites, it's from Claire's but it seems that it doesn't have name. The bottle is quite small and it's already running out... I was supposed to buy a new one now that I'm here, but they don't sell this polish anymore! Nooooo.... :< I have to start looking for a replacement.
It's important for me that my toenails look pretty, because I use lots of sandals here in UAE... My toes are quite crappy and I have big feet (sigh :<), so I like at least use pretty shoes and have my nails pretty. :')
And hey, my mom had her birthday and mothers day was recently, so I made two cards for her!

Blogger on sekoillut viime aikoina oikein kunnolla, toivottavasti nyt alkaisi toimia... -.- Käytin valmiita blingitarroja, joista unohdin ottaa kuvan...^^' Olen käyttänyt samanmerkkisiä tarroja ennenkin, kuvia voi yrittää bongailla täältä blogista. Lakkana on yksi lempparilakoistani, vaaleanpunainen Claire'sista ostettu lakka, jolla ei näytä olevan nimeä. Pullo on aika pieni, ja se on jo puolillaan! Minun oli tarkoitus ostaa uusi nyt kun olen täällä, mutta niitä ei myydä enää! :< Pitää löytää jokin korvike. Lopussa on kuvia synttärikortista, jonka tein äidilleni, ja äitienpäiväkortista! ^^
Some of you might recognize them... She was looking around my old posts and THIS was the design she wanted. :) I made the stripes little thinner this time and simplified it a little bit. It's nice to see that the same design works on both short and long nails! My friend was very happy too. ^^

Tällä kertaa esittelen teille vain kaverini kynnet. Hän halusi samantapaiset kynnet kuin TÄSSÄ postauksessa. Tein tällä kertaa raidoista vähän ohuemmat ja yksinkertaistin designia vähän. Oli kiva huomata, että sama juttu toimii sekä pitkillä että lyhyillä kynsillä! ^^ myös kaverini oli tyytyväinen. :) Viimeaikoina on ollut paljon kaikenlaista, mutta jatkan kirjoittelua entiseen tahtiin! :)
Inspiration for these nails is directly stolen from Tartofraises, the design was so beautiful that I just had to recreate it on my own nails... ^^´
I know it doesn't look nearly as gorgeus as the original design, but I like it anyway. :) I did purple tip with Sinful Colors Daddy's girl and added some GOSH - Rainbow on the top. Then I did the swirls with Kiss white nail art-polish and added Kiss silver nail art-polish in the middle of the white swirls. Here's a pic of the polishes I used:

Tämänkertaiset kynnet on siis kopioitu suoraan Tartofraisesilta! Ne vain olivat niin kauniit että oli pakko itsekin yrittää. Enhän minä tietenkään mitään yhtä upeaa onnistunut väsäämään, mutta tykkään näistä silti. ^^ Ensin laitoin pohjaksi yhden kerroksen H&M:n Pink Mistiä, ja sitten tein tipin Sinful Colorsin Daddy's Girlillä. Seuraavaksi kaksi valkoista kiemuraa Kissin nail art-lakalla, ja sitten väritin kiemuroiden väliin jäävän tilan hopeisella Kissin nail art-lakalla. Tippiin ja kynnen tyveen vielä GOSHin Rainbow'ta, ja valmis! Viime viikonloppuna täällä kävi myös eräs kaverini (jota näen ihan liian harvoin! :<) ja päätettiin pitkästä aikaa askarrella fimomassalla! Tein kakkukorviksia ja juustohampurilaissormuksen. Niistä tuli aika söpöjä, en enää edes muistanut miten kiva fimomassalla on leikkiä... :D Lakkasin myös kaverini kynnet. Värilakkana on H&M:n Blue my mind, ja sen päälle laitoin IsaDoran mustaa graffitilakkaa. :) Koeviikko lähestyy uhkaavasti, mutta aion silti postailla entiseen tahtiin. Pitää ainakin tehdä perinteiset onnenkynnet... :'D
