Moon Over Vatican City

Happy Easter Everyone

As we move into the Easter weekend here in Sydney, a full and generous moon is shining down upon us. Bright and benevolent it is sharing the promise of Easter..

Hope, Renewal & Second Chances

The moon and the Angels of the Vatican City will be watching and guiding us, so look above and look within and feel the nurture of a 'Compassion Moon'.

While I'm Here..
Remember to be safe this Easter. If you are driving long distances don't forget to ..

Rest, Revive and Survive!!

Little Miss: Takes A Journey

Ciao Mamma & Bonjour Maman
Little Miss has been doing a some travelling.   Her little girl dreams are filled with fields of wild flowers & daisies, and travels to far away places [and pretty little dresses to suit the climate].

It's no surprise Little Miss has big dreams right now.. It's a new year. Still fresh and sparkly with hopes & promise. Time to dream big and envisage new adventures.  Time to change 'maybe' into 'possible'.

Without little girl dreams
Where would we be?

I Hope You Are All Dreaming Big Right Now
It's our little dreams that grow into big possibilities.. Take out some childhood hopes and wishes, dust them off and plant them in a field of daisies.. Imagine them growing strong and healthy and spreading their tendrils upward and onward till they leap off that storybook page into your own world of reality.

And for all the little boys out there
The same applies
[sans le pretty dresses.. unless that's your thing!]

Dream Big This Year

This Has Been Another RubyTime Production©
Little Miss is a RubyTime  Associate and available to make guest appearances for your high profile functions.  Little Miss chooses to stay at 5 star hotels whilst on location and  has a standing order for 'milk and cookies in the evenings' and 'porridge with brown sugar for breakfast'. Christmas Spirit: Angels of Rome

Angels at Christmas Time

Another Angel for Christmas!  This is my fourth Angel of the ten that live upon the Ponte sant'Angelo in Roma [others here]. This little fellow is aptly named 'Angel with Lance'... So inventive those Romans...

I hope you are all having a lovely lead up to Christmas.. It is the silly season.. So remember to be safe as you scurry around helping Santa in his tasks... I'll send one of my Angels to watch over you!

Piazza Navona: The Beautiful & Bizarre

My favourite place in Rome.. Where the bizarre is beautiful and the beautiful is bizarre!! And the first place I visited when arriving.. After 16 years I was hoping I had not romanticized the memory, but sure enough Piazza Navona was still as beautiful and crazy as I remembered it.. One had to look past the annoying hawkers who seem to have multiplied exponentially since last time I was there, but underneath the layer of tourists and hawkers.. there she still was with all her beauty... My favourite statues still frozen in some awkward stance as if caught in the act of running amok..

I tried to get back each day when possible.. usually my last stop before dinner and returning to my hotel.. On this particular day it had been 39c.. and everyone was melting and exhausted .. Even the statues seemed to have had enough of the relentless heat and were inviting all to join them in their cool aqua waters. It was tempting!! I nearly jumped in!

Thanks For Indulging The Wacky
