Trying out my new christmas present......
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year. We sure did. It was a little different feeling this year, since my family didn't do gifts and our house was basically our Christmas this year. But, we had a lot of fun with family and friends. So, Josh and I weren't doing gifts this year, but of course Josh surprised me with a new camera I needed to take this class at CGCC this next semester. I am so stoked! It's something I've wanted to do for awhile. Anyhow, the camera got here today, so I had to try it out. My niece Bella was over playing with Taeler, so they got a little photo shoot. Also, wanted to do a little shout out to my friend Rachael....Happy Birthday! Hope it was a good one and Boss is feeling better!

Christmas Pics of the Neilson Grandkids

So, my mom wanted some pictures of the kids to send out to people. Why does taking pictures of kids have to be so CRAZY? Karlee's friend Heather was so nice to come take a few shots at my mom's. Thanks Heather. I thought they turned out pretty good, well as good as they get for that many kids. My favorite is the one of Rylee smiling with Taeler cuz she never smiles for pictures and she has the funniest smile in it. It looks like I put someone else's smile on her. So funny.

Halloween 2008
The girls had so much fun this year...Taeler as a butterfly, Rylee as a ladybug, and Josh as Spongebob...why I forgot to get a pic of him I don't know. Anyway, we went trick or treating in our soon to be new neighborhood and loved it. We met a lot of our new neighbors and are even more excited to move in. Rylee only lasted about 1/2 an hour with her antannas, but loved running around with all the kids. Taeler made a couple new friends already, and is going to have so much fun having friends so close again. Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

Garden Time
It's that time of year again at grandma & grandpa neilson's house. My parents are planting all sorts of things, and of course Rylee things she needs to be in the middle of it all helping. I don't know what we are all going to do at our new house. The girls are going to be so bored. For those of you who haven't heard, we are moving in two weeks to our first house. We are really excited. It's in Cortina, on Power/Germann. We love the neighborhood and area. I'll post some pics soon.
Oh how we love our Rylee Roo

Scarlett Neilson
My baby turned ONE on Sept. 1st. I can't believe she is already one, walking everywhere, and just acting so much older than she should. She's already into finding any necklace around the house and wearing it all day. She loves necklaces. What a girly girl. I thought for sure she'd be my tomboy...guess we'll see. Anyway, we spent a night at Chucky Cheese with Josh's family to celebrate. The kids had fun. But if any of you have any tiny thought in your head of taking your children there......DO NOT DO IT! Two days later....both my kids were sick with colds, even though I put hand sanitizer on them a hundred times. All the toys are so dirty and there are crazy kids running everywhere. Ok...enough about Chucky Cheese. Happy Birthday Rylee. We love you!
Wow....I have been out of the blogging world for awhile. Mostly because I don't have my handy Apple computer setup at my parents house, but also we have been really busy these last few weeks. I'm going to quickly and shortly catch everyone up on what we've been up too.
First, we spent Labor Day weekend at my Neilson family reunion in Springdale, UT.(Zion's) It was really fun to see a lot of my cousins I haven't seen in years. The car drive that should have taken 7 hours took 12 hours. We will probably never drive with Rylee in the car for that long again. She cried most the way because she wanted out of her car seat.
And yes...Taeler jumped off that cliff with Josh...multiple times...and loved it.
