Here is my inspiration this month
I love Gorjuss stamps ! They are amazing ! I have had these for over 3 years now and have hardly used them . But here we go :) I thought for anything goes i could do a step card which again i havent done in a while !

I have used promarkers and watercolor pencils to finish the lovely stamped image.
The peach flower is handmade and the dasies are localy bought.

I wanted to make it look like she is really swinging , so after a lot of fussy cutting i managed to get the look by adding foam dots to the back of the stamp.
Then with the lovely sizzix frame die it was as always nice to give it that regal look.
So thats about it ! after a CAS challenge it was nice to return to my roots :D
shabby , full of flowers and colors ! :)
Hope you liked my card and will join us in the ANYTHING GOES challenge HERE

This time I have two different birthday cards with Gorjuss. Do you know this sweet little girl?
I've just discovered her and I felt  in love with her!

First card is more pastel, with pink butterflies. The girl is gray and red mostly.

My second card is a hexagon-shaped-card with this same Gorjuss girl. She is green and blue with red flowers.  I also made a flower.

As you can see, I created two different cards using this same stamp image. It's why I like stamping so much: you can create as many version of the image as you want, using different colours or cutting them out with different tools. That's cool!

Now is your turn to show us your beautiful cards!

Warm greetings

BGC # 65 - Mood board + Stamping by Aneta

Hello, dear followers!

I'm really happy, that I can be here with you again, when the new year begun. I miss it!

We have some changes here, so please read a our new rules carefully.

This month we have a challenge with the mood board and stamping. Just to remind you the rules:
  • Make a paper crafted project taking inspiration from the moodboard .
  • Your post must mention how or what elements inspired you for your project.
  • Your project must have some sort of stamping done on it. Make sure its visible in your pictures .
  • Your project must be new and must have been made after our challenge announcement
  • Deadline to enter -  28th Feb 2015 until 11:55 PM IST .

We have also great prizes for you:

Prize 1

Wow! That looks great, doesn't it?  I think, that it's worth to join us in this challenge!
Basing on our mood board, I prepared a card as an inspiration for you. I chose delicate peach color as the main element of it. Playing with a symmetry here ( because I didn't wan to to make a card with all elements just in the middle of the card), I put smaller rectangles more to the right side and down.

What do you think about my card?

I'm looking forward to see yours projects this month!
Have a lot of fun making them!

Warm greetings
Aneta

BGC#63 - Monochromatic !

Hello everyone !!
Its PJ here ! Its time for another challenge this November :)
So our DT member Aneta challenged us this fortnight to create something Monochromatic !
So we present to you our 63rd challenge

Challenge guidelines :  (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
  • Make a project using shades of only one color (any color - your choice). If you are not using shades just go for one single color against the neutrals.
  • Neutrals like white and black will be allowed but in minimum amount.
  • If you are using a stamped image make sure you stay in the color scheme u picked, but you are free to use skin and hair shades for coloring human images.
  • Here is the color wheel for your reference if you are using shades !

  •  Link back to our challenge to be eligible for the prize
  •  deadline to enter - 30th Nov 2014 until 11:55 PM

Here is what i made !
As you can see i went with the blue green family of colors !
Teal is one of my fav colors and it always works with the neutrals !

I have been trying to get my hands on one of those feather dies but somehow my local store is always out of stock !! so i just hand cut these ones ! Not a big deal but i am definitely gonna get those feather dies.
They are so in trend at the moment !
I have used some frantage embossing enamel on the feathers to give them that dreamy look.
And added some twine made into a bow with some pearls to finish the look.

For the background i just went with one of the lovely ombre paper from crate paper's  flea market collection.
Over which i did some ink splatter in black and teal (lindy's Stamp gang mists)
So thats about it on how i did this card !
Please do enter this challenge :)

the winner will receive a lovely prize from
https://www.facebook.com/CREATIVITA14?pnref=story

So let the entries begin !
