Life Is Like Riding A Bike

In order to keep your balance, you must keep moving.

Those are great words to live by and they are part of Bugaboo Stamps New Release this week.  They're paired with this adorable Brat image, Brat Bike Boy!

Great for cards of encouragement!

Here's the card I made with a little twist.  I opted to hide the sentiment behind the main image.

Other challenges I've entered this card:

Creative Inspiration-Anything Goes
Digi Stamps 4 Joy-Anything Goes
Make It Monday-Anything Goes

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  TTFN

Make a big splash baby!

It's New Release day at Bugaboo Stamps are you ready to get soaked?!!!  Jodie has done it yet again!  She's added another cute kiddo to her A Kids View collection and this one is perfect for summer birthday party invites or encouragement which is what I chose to do with it.

A Kids View- Summer Waterslide

I printed the image on white card stock and then colored it using watercolor pencils and a watercolor brush.  The card base is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 but measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 with the topper added to it.  I didn't have a punch for the waves so I free handed (or should I say cut)  them.  The sentiment was created using Print Shop and curlz font.

Be sure to stop by Catch The Bug for more great cards using this image!

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  TTFN

Sew!!!! We've got a New Release that's sure to keep you in stitches!

I'm being punny again but couldn't help myself!  As you can tell from the title, this weeks New Release is gonna have something to do with sewing but can you guess which Bugaboo Stamps character it features?!!!  It's JJ and she's all decked out in patches and even has some sewing accessories.

JJ Sewing
I printed the image on white card stock and colored it using prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps Sew Grateful digi set.  Playing off the sewing theme, I did some stitching and added buttons and ribbon.

If yo like what I've done with this JJ image, you're gonna love what the design team did with it.  You can check them out at Catch The Bug!

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  TTFN

Emergency Hugs

You ever watch the movie UP? Well there's this cute little dog that has a collar on him that allows him to talk and it's pretty cool, but he sometimes gets distracted by shiny things.

Why am I telling you this? Well I am kind of like that little dog when I'm blog surfing. I get distracted by shiny things and can totally lose track of what it was I was doing.

Today was one of those days. I was checking out my blog reader when I came across a shiny new challenge. (New to me) It's Waltzingmouse Stamps CASE challenge.

Now, I barely have time to do the ones I already do and now I'm gonna do another one?!! LOL I just couldn't resist. The challenge was to CASE one of the designers cards so I chose to CASE my blogging friend Bonnie aka The Lucky Clucker. Her card can be found here and here is my case of it.

The fire engine is one of the many images in the Help For Katie set which can be purchased at Jakheath.com and the proceeds from the sell of the set will go to help Katie Renz who is fighting stage four stomach cancer.

I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out with my oval nestabilities, tilted slightly. The changes I made from Bonnie's card are the image, the paper, hearts instead of stars, added sentiment.

If you want to join in on the fun you'll have to hurry. The challenge ends in 13 hours. I know it's late but like I said in the beginning of this post. I just found the challenge a couple of hours ago myself.

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN

Hugs, Becky
