Cardano System

Tau are finally here. I've waited for this moment for so long, but I find that this is not a happy day. Last Month the WoC came out, and due to that (and some video games) I can only afford the codex, which makes me pissed. If the all-mighty GW told us who come next - like before (I believe Tomb Kings were the last one?) it was 2 months before the release - I wouldn't have this problem. Well I can always hope that I'll be able to buy some new Tau models during the Summer..

Atleast the models look good. Even though they look fantastic, they are really overpriced.. Only set that feels like it should cost that much would probably be the Tau Pathfinders. I would've even been okay witha cost of 30 e for them.

This wasn't such a bad thing though. Now I at least know that I should start repainting and repairing my old Tau army (first 40k army I ever started).  Just after I've done some of the WoC. This will also mean that I'll probably re-do my Tau's fluff. Instead of controlling a lava-planet, I might make it so that they control a jungle planet instead.

Also as a side note, I've been thinking about my Space Marine's colour scheme and I've come to a conclusion that it's not working out for me. That is why I'll make a new colour scheme for them (starting with Space Hulk models). The fluff will stay the same though.

In other words.. I'll upload more stuff here in the future again. :DD

Finally, I'm actually showing off one of my Orks.. xD
Slabba (used as Ghazghkull Thraka*) is the bad ass of a Pirate Ork force that I have (though they aren't that "pirate-ish" by the looks). I very often use him due to the pure awesomeness he is. I mean who wouldn't like to be a big ork that is clad in metal armour? It was really fun to paint him, and the pictures are quite close to what he looks irl. Now for some fluff!

Slabba, a mighty Warboss of a Pirate Clan named after him, is very known in the Cardano System and anywhere near it (so Ultramar, Sautekh** Dynasty, Tau Empire etc.). Though his forces often fight anyone with something to loot, he is also known to work as a mercenary to anyone who can make a good deal. Even though looting is one of his very favourite hobbies (and fighting), he is known for a collection of large amount of hats/helmets. Every time he defeats someone in a challenge, he takes their hat/helmet and takes it to his large hall of hats. No one knows why he does it, but there have been some speculations that it might be because of a hat he once lost. They even think that the whole reason for all the fights might be because he is looking for that one hat, but can't simply find it. If that is the reason, the ork activity will only get bigger and bigger until he finds it or has the whole Cardano System infested with uncountable amount of orks.

Nothing special over here! The skull looks better irl. But otherwise everything looks about the same.

I've always loved the model, and when I got him from my friend, I just had to paint it as soon as possible!
I had some difficulties deciding how to paint him, and I'm very pleased with the result.

Danius Poile is the Grand Officer of Cardano System, commanding all the Imperial Guard Regiments that fight there. His superior tactics have helped him defeat almost any battle fought. It is believed that Cardano System would have been lost long time ago, if he wouldn't be in command.

This blog is about my forces in the grim dark future of the 41st millenium. The fluff of the forces are centered into one system, called Cardano. Please enjoy; The blog will have pictures of my four 40k armies and some fluff sometimes. There may even be some tutorials and battle reports, depending on if I actually make some.

Fluff is usually written with cursives, and everything else without.

Now here is some main fluff on the system:

Cardano system is made from a large star, 4 (partly) livable planets and 2 gas giants. Cardano system was found by the Imperium of Man during the great crusade. Cardano system is in the Eastern Fringe, locaded next to Ultramar and Tau Empire. Here are the livable planets listed from (currently) the closest planet from the star to the furthest planet:
Shairia - A planet currently under Tau Empire's control. High amount of resources hidden beneath.
Denectus - Black Tears' main training planet, with only one fortress remaining due to the traitor Space Marines that have taken the North.
Bromitus - A planet evacuated due to the Necrons that have taken control. Few forces have been sent there from time to time.
Thenchor - A frozen planet, that is the current capitol of the system and is in the greatest shape.
