You are 4

I used an anonymous stamp I have had for a long time, colored with chalk pencils and gel pens.  The DP with numbers is Debbie Mumm; the gingham and polka dots is part of a recent prize from Chris at AMuse.  Also used:  Nesties, 7 Gyspsies library stamp, and Baker's Twine.

Old & New Thank You

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I will need a few thank you cards, so this is a good way to start the new year.  I just received my order of Basic Grey Hopscotch items, including the DP and embellishments (buttons and paper ribbon.)  The embossing folder (Lifestyle crafts) is fairly new as well.  The brown cs I have had quite a while.  The stamp (SU Designer greetings) is new to me, but purchased at a yard sale, so is really old!

Christmas #19

I actually have more than 19 cards, but this is a way to change titles here LOL!  I tried  for a vintage look with the sepia/brown image and slightly distressed edges.  I also have vintage lace - purchased at an estate sale, and I am sure it must be over 50 years old (come to think of it, I am a lot older....!!!).  The snowflakes are embossed on shimmery cs, and that reminds me of the ceilings in some old buildings.  I added shimmer to the star with my new gold Spica pen.  Otherwise, everything here is at least 6 months old and some much older - the sentiment says SU 1995, though I have owned it for just a few years.

Peacock colors

I wanted to use my JustRite "Smile" stamps - only to discover that the wooden stamper has gone AWOL, along with my favorite sentiment from the set.  I experimented with using an acrylic block - the result is that only the outer rim of the border made an impression, but I think I managed to make it work.  I used Spica pens to color the border, and added some sparkly jewels to add to the jewel tone/peacock look.
The DP is K&Company, and I have dark blue bg cs.

CAD Office supplies with a castle

For some reason, last year I bought a huge pad of DCWV fall/Halloween dp, though I seldom make Halloween cards.  I did really like  the combinations of colors and patterns - but this is going to last a while LOL!  I also just ordered a new paper trimmer, as the one I have roughs up the edges, even with new blades.
For the following inspiration challenge I immediately thought of this rather old Provencal set (SU).  It is one I like a lot, but seldom use.  The image is sponged with Eggplant Envy chalk.  I used some fancy clips to hold the Bobbin ribbon.  The bg paper has bat silhouettes at the top - they probably look like smudges here.

Bird Bath

I am sending this to a guy who had a serious biking accident.  I hope the cheery colors will give him a lift.  The image is Inkadinkado; DP is from a DCWV fall stack.  The Purely Pumpkin luster twine is by Pizzazz Aplenty.

Distressed Birthday

This used the image from the Our Daily Bread Happy Birthday set.  CP is from a recollections pad.  Bg is a dark brown.  Coloring with Twinkling H20's and pastel pencils.  Distressing, tearing, using ODB stamp:  http://ourdailybreaddesignsblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Shining%20the%20Light%20Challenge

Another birthday???

I am not sure what happened, but today I can actually upload cards pretty easily.  We spend the summers in an area which is on the fringe of a Verizon service area and I get dropped often - this is really our only option for service in this location.
Stamp - Rubbernecker.   EF - Argyle (CB)  Punch - Fiskars.  Sentiment - computer generated.
I used the sketch, but chose the Asterisk dies (Cuttlebug) instead of flowers, for a masculine card: http://willowsketchiechallenge.blogspot.com/

Bathing Beauty

I used odds and ends of cs and paper.  The flowers are Petaloo, and the ribbon from Michaels.  The embossing folder - D'Vine Swirls, by Cuttlebug.

Favorite: Black & white with a touch of red

I like this simple sketch.  For the moment, black and white, with a bit of red, is a favorite color.  The DP is Recollections, and the embossing is Floral Fantasy by cuttlebug.

Father's Day

I have lots of fishing and golfing images, but it is time to do something different!  Again, this is from my stash of images (mostly from Wish RAK on SCS).  It might be Noble Deer by SU.  The sentiment is JustRite.  I embossed the Kraft cs with Distressed Stripes.  The DP at the top is DCWV.  The card is completed with brown and white striped Baker's Twine and brads.  This is #12 of my 100 cards in 100 days - without purchasing new supplies.

Shuffle Slower

I need to have some masculine/"golden oldies" cards available - DH, his twin brother, and a friend celebrate birthdays later this week.  DH and his twin will be 80 and the friend is not far behind.
I am also beginning another challenge - create 100 cards in 100 days without adding to our supply stash.  I know I could probably do 1000 with what I have, except for card bases and maybe some colored cs for mats.  Here is the link for the 100 in 100 challenge:  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/blogging-groups-f290/100-cards-projects-100-days-t554358-3.html

I used a GinaK image, watercolored, with some stripes for accents.  The corners are from a CB paisley die, and the bg is the CB Script.

Using script: bg:  http://www.trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.com//

(I am in an area with extremely poor internet reception, so this is going to be hit or miss all summer!)
