This year we celebrated Christmas in California with my side of the family. The Sunday before we left we had a small Christmas party with Dan's fam at our house.
The best part was playing candy land and hide-and-seek with grandpa and Auntie Sandra after the girls opened their gifts.
Sharon is so fun to play hide-and-seek with. She lets you know the whole time you are (pretending) to look for her where she is.
Mom: "where could that little Sharon Combs be? I have no idea!"
Sharon: I'm in your closet mommy (just in case I didn't hear...again) I'm in your closet mommy!
We then spent a fun relaxing week in Sacramento with my family! Some highlights...
1. Me and Dan getting hooked to the game Rummikub.
2. Seeing how much Sharon and Kami-cakes adore one another. They are best buds! Last night she was helping me set the table for dinner. She was so excited to set a spot for Kami and was so sad when I said Kami is in California and wont be having dinner with us in Utah. She just cried and said "I want Kami."
3. Seeing Katie's face light-up when she received her princess Tiana dress-up for Christmas. It broke the bank but was so worth it! Before we left her oupa bought her a Jasmine dress-up which she loves! A girl can't have too many dresses right;)
4. Spending a night with my hubby in San Francisco for my birthday. We watched "THe Blind Side" and "Avatar" (both great flicks). We had dinner on the sunny Fisherman's Wharf.
5. Seeing my sister's gorgeous new house.
6. Loving my sister's amazingly wonderful 3 month old son Dylan;)
7. Just being with my family. When Dan and I got back yesterday we both felt a little sad.

Thinking of you, can't wait for the news and the first pics. Love and miss you all.
