Mini Album ~ Thanksgiving Memories

I made another mini album but this time I used this pretty falling leaves design paper.
I used the same embossing folder and this time change the base color to dark brown.
Once again I added the photo frames to both sides of the album and have pictures with the belly band accenting the two different ways the album front can be.
Wouldn't this be a great Thanksgiving hostess gift?
I can just imagine pictures of loved ones gathered around the Thanksgiving table as they give thanks for all of their blessings.
I really miss those magical times at my Mom & Dad's with the whole family all together in one place sharing each others company.
I wish we had taken pictures of those moments so I could enjoy them today.

Tea Bag Holder ~ Fall Leaves (post #3)

I thought this little project would make another nice little hostess gift.
It would also make a nice little gift to give someone who is feeling under the weather.
It has a pocket on each side which I chose to place a tea bag and a matching note card.
It would also work to tuck a little snake size chocolate bar in and give to some one to thank them for being a friend.

Notepad Holder ~ Fall Leaves (post #2)

Every year one of my best friends invites us to Thanksgiving dinner at her parent's house.
If she doesn't invite us her parents get upset with her.
They tell her we need to be there because we are "family".
This touches my heart more than they will ever know.
I've always considered them my adopted parents and to know they feel the same is priceless.
When I was making this it struck me that it would make a wonderful little hostess gift to give them to let them know how thankful I am to be included in their wonderful family.
I am going to make one to match their house color scheme.

Pocket Tissue Holder ~ Fall Leaves (post #1)

I wanted to try one of these using double-sided pattern paper instead of using a solid with design paper accent panels as I did on my 11/2 post {here} .
Each way has its pros and cons.
For this one the design paper from one side {leaves} shows up a lot more prominently than the other side {orange/rust} so one side of your design paper is not seen much.
With the two-sided design paper you have to make sure your pattern works from all directions.
If the design in the paper has a design that would be upside down if the paper is turned then the front and side panels would have the image upside down.
With the solid background you can turn the cut out panel accents to look just right.
I used my brand new Spellbinder dies and my older, never used scallop punch to add the decorations to the holder.
Add a little sentiment and ribbon and this makes a wonderful gift for someone special.

Mini Album ~ Halloween Cuties

Well obviously I didn't get this one finished before Halloween but I think the little critters on the design paper are so cute I just had to share it.
Hope your Halloween was a good one.

Since the album has the design paper and embossed paper alternating on both sides of the album they can decide which side they like to have showing.
