we hit the cold winter air in the mornings before school!)

we have been so very blessed up here in the PacNWest!

this past week was truly filled with  little ordinary miracles that

have been cherished beyond belief.

with all of the treacherous weather that has been occurring...

...last Sunday in NY & NJ, it was 50+ degrees at game time!

youngest, lowest paid ( not for long ), free agents...low round draft picks...now the best in football!

a crystal clear winter day when Seattle more than doubled it's population

with a CELEBRATION parade...no mischief...and  a perfect after work commute!

those of us in western Washington have been very cold, but have been

blessed not to have been caught in severe weather thus far.

(our neighbors in Oregon had a very tough weather related traffic day, yesterday.)

after being in Whistler for a week, and the opening of the Winter Olympic Games,

i am kind of in a cool red, natural and blue mood!

lot's of catch up needs to be done now that we have recovered from our 

vacation, and the post Superbowl euphoria!

i am so proud of our community.

yesterday, over 700 thousand Seahawk fans showed up

in downtown Seattle to welcome our team and the 

Vince Lombardi trophy to the Pacific Northwest!

  our practice manager let us stream the 5 hour broadcast, that had absolutely no 

commercials, into our office reception area and onto our desktops.

the 12's  were fueled with Starbucks and Skittles.

everyone behaved!

on I - 5 was trouble free.

what a week it was!

we're back from our very restful and lovely vacation.

thanks for putting up with all of my home town football team pride.

things like this don't happen in Seattle very often.

if we hadn't made it to the big game,  this house would have

been rooting for Peyton Manning all the way.

 he is such a class act.  we all wish the score would have been closer.  

i also want thank you for all of the lovely birthday wishes

you left for Chrislyn!  Jason took her to her dream Seattle restaurant for dinner!
