This weekend was very busy, and it went by so fast. Don't worry, we had a lot of fun while we were at it though.
Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early to go to a community wide garage sale with my friend, Dianna. We found some really good deals including this pretty shelf with a picture of Paris in it. After the garage sale, we went to Corner Bakery for breakfast. Yum!!!
Later that afternoon, Jason and I went to the Greek Festival in Dallas for some dancing and food. My boss' daughter was dancing in one of the groups, and so we went to go and see her. It was cool to see all the Greek culture and enjoy the delicious food!
Cute little 5th and 6th graders dancing some Greek dances.
See the girl in the yellow hat? That is my boss' daughter. She did really well. My feet could not move like that. One because I have no rhythm and two because I 'm still wearing this
stupid boot.
I had something that I couldn't pronounce, but it started with a T. It was cheese with fried dough around it. Oh my gosh was it good.
Jason had a gyro. It had lamb in it so I didn't touch it.
We were able to walk through the church while we were there, and the artwork and pictures were beautiful.
On Sunday, Jason and I got up
ridiculously early so we could head to Jason's triathlon that morning. He was doing a relay with two other people so he was only doing the swimming portion. I stood around with little miss Lucye and our friends' family while we watched the event.

Here he is heading into the transition point to pass the chip off to our friend, Ryan.

Patty coming into the finish line
All of them after they had finished. So proud of them.
After we got home from the race, we went grocery shopping, and then Jason and I took a much needed nap =). We then had pumpkin pancakes for dinner. It's a tradition that we always have pumpkin pancakes when fall begins. They were absolutely delicious. I love fall, even though the weather doesn't seem to be getting the memo quite yet.
Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
