Pumpkin Patch 2015

One of my favorite things that I look forward to every fall. It's one of my favorite traditions that I do with my kids. I was so excited to take J with us for the first time. Last year when we took E to the pumpkin patch, I was dealing with severe morning sickness and ate two snow cones just to not throw up while we were there. Ha! Things are definitely different this year and I am very thankful.

We go to the same pumpkin patch about 30 minutes away. They have bounce houses, hay rides, a train, lots of character boards, and hay mazes. It is so much fun! We always have fun. We didn't stay too long because it was hot but we did have a lot of fun!

The sun was so bright so the kids had a hard time looking at the camera if it was in their eyes. We stopped to get a picture with Clifford - one of E's favorites. We have a plethora of Clifford books at home.

Also our classic Minnie and Mickey

Look at my big girl!

No way was J looking at the camera. The sun was right in his eyes. Oh well.

Look at this cutie patootie in his little bowl. My heart melts.

 Driving the plane

She spent a lot of time in this small corn maze. She had so much fun in it.

We tried to get pictures of them together. They didn't look at the camera at the same time. J was more interested at something going on off camera, but the cuteness is still there!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!! They aren't looking at the camera but I love this picture. The sun rays are just awesome.

Haha her facial expressions!

In the pumpkin house!

We picked out a pumpkin and headed home. Another fun memory at the pumpkin patch! So thankful for my little family!

Pumpkin Patch 2013

Yesterday, Jason had the day off from work so we took E to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. It was so much fun and definitely worth the drive! We took her to this patch last year when she was just 2 months old, and it was so fun to watch her run around this year to all the different cut outs, pumpkins, and play vehicles.

Before I had kids, I would always dream of the days that I could take my kids to the pumpkin patch. Kelly from Kellys Korner talked about it the other day, and I couldn't agree more with her. It was something that I always wanted and didn't know if my day would ever come. Now instead of looking at the pumpkin patch with longing, I look at it and thank God above that He has blessed me with my beautiful daughter. I am so so thankful.

They had wooden figures of the Duck Dynasty people and I thought that I got a picture of all of them but I must have been too busy chasing a certain 13 month old =). Here she is with Miss Kay.

That's it she can't grow up anymore.

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday. It was a very quick trip but it was fun.  As we were driving there the cold front came through earlier than they expected, and we had a slight rain storm. We waited out the rain storm in the car and when I opened the car door, the wind had picked up and the temperature was definitely cooler. We hurried to take a few pictures and then left.  It's okay though because we got some cute pictures of the little miss!

Our family of three

In the stroller : anytime the wind would pick up, her eyes would get really wide

Her shirt says I'm so cute it's scary

One of my favorites

Isn't she just precious?!

I hope we can make this a tradition every year, but hopefully the weather will cooperate next time.

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

What I'm loving this gorgeous fall Wednesday
Hosted by Jamie

1. I'm loving this fall weather!! Oh my gosh - today the high is going to be 68! If you could see my happy dance right now, you would think I was ridiculous.

2. I'm loving the yummy treats I've made the past two days. On Sunday, I made pumpkin cream cheese muffins. I got the recipe from Eclectically E (thanks!) and then on Monday night, I made pumpkin snickerdoodles. They are both so amazing!

3. I'm loving that last week I went shopping and found some really cute boots at Target and some skinny jeans. I love finding good deals!! I think I'll be wearing these boots to my high school reunion next weekend!

4. I'm loving that the Rangers are in the World Series. Now I'm not a die hard fan or anything, but there is a sense of pride for a Texas team to be in the championship game.

5. I'm loving the cute Halloween socks I picked up at the dollar section at Target. (Are you seeing a pattern here?) They're just a little fun to brighten my day!

6. I'm loving this pic of me and Lucye (excuse my no make up face). We pretty much do this every weekend morning while I eat my breakfast and relax before I get ready for the day. She's my baby.

Hope you are having a fabulous Wednesday!
