Week 28-30!

How far long: 28 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: Yep!!

Sleep: My hips will start to ache if I lie on one side for to long so that wakes me up;

Best moment of the week: I passed my diabetes test!!! ( Barely, my number was 132 and the cut off was 139) I can still eat my cookies =) I also got to see our little boy on an ultrasound since I will be getting more ultrasounds now that we are in the third trimester. He looks so cute but he doesn't really like to show his face to the camera. There is usually a hand or something in the way or he will turn his head so we can't get a good facial picture.

Movement: Oh yes. Huge movements of either his head or bottom are really fun to watch.

Food cravings: Avocados, a good glass of chocolate almond milk in the morning, and water

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to:  Adding stuff to my registry. My mentor mom for MOPS offered to throw me a shower which I think is so kind so I'm really excited.

Pregnancy Symptoms: Braxton hicks are starting to happen a lot more frequently and some have had me concerned every once in a while but they always die down. Heartburn. I will say the nausea hasn't been as bad this week so that's been good.

Stretch Marks: None

How far long: 29 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: Yes. I'm starting to pull out all my spring time stuff since the weather is getting warmer. It's like a whole new wardrobe =)

Sleep: Eh. Weird dreams and aching hips make for some interesting sleep patterns.

Best moment of the week:  We had another appointment this week and got to listen to his little heartbeat.

Movement: All the time!! Sometimes they are hurt!

Food cravings: I did crave Taco Villa earlier this week but didn't get it. Nothing really major food craving wise.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to: My parents are coming this weekend so it will be fun to see them.

Pregnancy Symptoms: More Braxton hicks, a little bit of nausea and some fun heartburn

Stretch Marks: None

Belly button: In

How far long: 30 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: Yes!

Sleep: This week has been pretty rough with sleep. E has been sick and so she has been waking up a lot more than normal at night and Jason and I have been taking turns sleeping on the floor in her room. It has made my hips extra achey.

Best moment of the week:  I got a lot of rest this week in the sense that we didn't do a lot of running around because E was sick all week. So I spent a lot of time with my feet propped up on the couch cuddling my sick girl and getting some rest for my tired feet.

Movement:  Yes, he goes crazy in there sometimes and my stomach goes nuts.

Food cravings: I wanted a sandwich this week. So we had McAlisters twice  - it was amazing. Also I am so excited that strawberries are back in season because I have been loving them.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to: A doctor appointment next week, and there is another consignment sale next weekend so I'm hoping to get some more fun clothes for him.

Pregnancy Symptoms: Heartburn has been pretty bad this week as well as an increase in Braxton hicks. I'm hoping they don't turn into real contractions as this was about the time I started getting an irritated uterus with E. Also my fingers have started to become swollen making my rings difficult to get off at the end of the day.

Stretch Marks: None

Our weekend

This weekend was pretty busy and fun. We went to Oklahoma on Friday night to go and visit Jason's brother and his family. It was a quick trip but it was a lot of fun. E enjoyed playing with her cousins in their big backyard and was very very sad to leave on Sunday morning.

Mowing the lawn or pavement

They ran down this hill a lot

She saw her bigger cousins riding down the hill on this bike so she wanted to try it as well

She was successful the first time and the second time she crashed and burned, but at least she got up and laughed about it

Being pushed by Uncle Justin

My no fear child

We left Sunday morning to head back to DFW because I had a picnic to attend that afternoon. I'm part of a crunchy mom's group on Facebook and I talk frequently with people online from there. They had their annual picnic this weekend and so I finally got to meet some people and see an old friend that introduced me to the group in the first place. The picnic was at this huge camp area, and they had tons of fun things to do.

E was attempting to hula hoop

There was a mom there that was doing balloon animals to raise money for her adoption. E asked her to make Cinderella, and this lady did such a great job!! I hope she made a ton of money to fund her adoption. That Cinderella is still alive and kicking and is sitting up on my breakfast bar right now.

Hope you had a great weekend too!!

Weeks 22-27!

I will be caught up sometime this week and will be keeping up from now on! I even have an alarm on my phone that will go off each week to remind me =).

How far long: 22 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: All the time. Fun cute sweaters and jeans and leggings are my go to right now.

Sleep: When I get sleep I sleep pretty well

Best moment of the week: One more month down (end of January) before this little boy arrives. This pregnancy is going by so fast and I can't believe it. We bought our first outfit for him this weekend. A cute little short and shirt outfit that is blue/turquoise with a little truck on it. So cute!

Movement: All the time!!

Food cravings: I may or may not have eaten a ridiculous amount of chips and salsa this week.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to: We have a doctor appointment later this week. Love getting to check on him and listen to his little heartbeat. E loves to listen to his heart beat too.

Pregnancy Symptoms: Getting winded when going up stairs (really?) I just laugh at myself. My pregnancy brain is starting to make me forget to do important things (like plug in a crockpot).

Stretch Marks: None

How far long: 23 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: This dress is a regular dress (got to love the maxi dresses) but mainly I wear shirts and jeans that are both maternity.

Sleep: I got a good night sleep because I spent the night away from the house!

Best moment of the week: We got to listen to his heartbeat at our appointment this week. He is doing well and growing right on schedule. I also got a full uninterrupted sleep because I had a girls night after the If:gathering where we stayed at a cabin on Eagle Mountain Lake. It was awesome!!

Movement: Oh yes, and some of his movements are starting to hurt.

Food cravings: Nothing major this week.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to:  We are having a family night later this week to celebrate Valentine's Day. I can't wait until he is here to join us!

Pregnancy Symptoms: This week I have some upset stomach problems that I haven't had since the Zofran pump came off. I didn't throw up but my stomach felt off. The only thing that calmed it down was my flavored carbonated water I had in the refrigerator that I have on hand for this type of thing.

Stretch Marks: None

How far long: 24 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: Yes just because they are just comfortable.

Sleep: Sleep is going well. I am having some weird pregnancy dreams lately. Very vivid and just weird.

Best moment of the week: We went and registered this weekend. We added a few things to the registry just to have some boyish things. No major big items since we have those already but I'm sure he would rather have blue blankets or sleep sacks instead of the girlie pink ones his sister has =)

Movement: Oh yes and this week he mad me gasp and Elyanah asked me if I was ok. I just told her that her little brother kicked me really hard. Ha!

Food cravings: I really was craving fruit this week. You know like blueberries and strawberries which are not in season so I had to use some frozen variety.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to: My birthday is this week and I'm looking forward to going to the Cheesecake Factory. I am sure this little boy will enjoy all the yumminess I will eat there. I am also going to a consignment sale next weekend so hopefully I will get some cute clothes for him.

Pregnancy Symptoms: Still having some stomach issues on and off throughout the week. It only lasted a 2 days but it was annoying. I tried to have scrambled eggs for breakfast one day and he wanted none of that. So for the record, still can't eat eggs or enjoy the smell of them. Also coffee is still bothering me if I get a good whiff of it.

How far long: 25 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: Yep!

Sleep: Sleeping ok but my hips are starting to really bother me if I stay on one side too long. So I will wake up several times a night because of the aching and have to switch sides.

Best moment of the week: I bought some more clothes for our little boy this week at the consignment sale. They are so cute. I keep looking at them and think "surely, they aren't this small!" I think I forget how tiny E was at the beginning too.

Movement: All the time!!

Food cravings: I really wanted avocados this week. I went to B.J.'s with some friends and ordered some avocado egg rolls and they were amazing. Avocados are the best.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to: Going to Canton with my college roommate next weekend! I can't wait to get a lovey there. I got one for E at the same place before she was born and I love that they will both have a lovey from there.

Pregnancy Symptoms: It's getting hard to pick things up the floor! Ha! Not too bad but it just takes a little more effort. I still don't like the smell of coffee.

Stretch Marks: None

How far long: 26 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: This shirt in this picture is not maternity but long enough that I could still wear it.

Sleep: Weird dreams. Just weird, crazy dreams.

Best moment of the week: WE DECIDED ON A NAME!!! Well a first name at least. We are still working on a middle name but that will come eventually. I'm just excited that we have a name that we can call him now. Baby brother just wasn't cutting it. Although, E still wants to call him baby brother but hopefully she will catch on soon.

Movement: He moves all the time. He has his active times (around 10 pm and the middle of the afternoon) but he rarely goes an hour without moving.

Food cravings: Avocados, yogurt, and cookies

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to:  Well we didn't get to go to Canton because of the snow so we rescheduled for April! I have my gestational diabetes test this week and we get an ultrasound too since I'm starting my 3rd trimester.

Pregnancy Symptoms:  I feel like he had a growth spurt this week. I feel bigger and heavier and it takes more of an effort to put on pants and socks and shoes. =)

Stretch Marks: None

How far long: 27 weeks!

Baby size:

Maternity clothes: This shirt isn't maternity but I do rock my maternity jeans like no other.

Sleep: I am still having weird dreams. This week I vividly remember that I decided to become Amish and I milked a cow and lived on a farm. (What?!)

Best moment of the week: No appointment happened this week because of snow again so we rescheduled for next week. I went to another sale this week and got more clothes for him! I am so excited for him to wear them. Plus we had one of Jason's co-workers gift us there clothes from their son so it's been fun organizing those too. I started working on some burp clothes for him too!

Movement: He moves all the time!

Food cravings:  I wanted to drink all the water this week but nothing really in the food department this week.

What I miss: Nothing

What I'm looking forward to: Gestational diabetes appointment this week. We are visiting Jason's brother and family next weekend so it will be nice to see them.

Pregnancy Symptoms: My stomach was upset again this week but this time I had it for 3 days this week. Carbonated water was my friend. Indigestion is also starting to come back but drinking a glass of milk seems to help it.

Stretch Marks: None
