Peanut Butter Playdough
*this stuff tastes really good and the boys love to eat it!*
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
Mix all ingredients and have fun!
Playdough
This recipe is from the squadron cookbook when my parents lived in Germany. I remember making this when I was young. I just made it for the boys to play with when they get up from their nap. The smell of it brings back so many memories! It doesn't taste good, but it won't hurt you if you eat it.
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 tbsp cooking oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
Combine and heat in medium saucepan over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture forms a ball. Drop onto wax paper and knead to remove lumps. For a rainbow of colors, add food coloring. This will keep in plastic bags in the refrigerator.
| After I kneaded it, I added blue neon food coloring. I found it in the cupboard and thought it would be fun to try! |
| After you've kneaded the lumps out and the coloring in, have fun! |
Hope the boys like it and you do, too!
