Went to Sungei Wang with Linda yesterday to buy a shoulder rest for my viola. After lunch at KFC,lower ground floor, we saw this:
I never heard of ThomasJack before so my first impression of these two singers was-- they are soo young! (18 and 19 wor according to Min..) it was as if seeing my friend Anthony(because he's a bit tanned and they are,too) and schoolmate dancing and singing on stage. Linda cannot really tahan them so we didn't stay for long.
and.. they OBVIOUSLY lip-synced ah!! sigh... i wonder why they even bothered to take the mic.. >.> (no offense)
Guess what, it's our first time to hop on the wrong train to get back to Hang Tuah to interchange station. LOL...
Life at UCSI is pretty cool. We outstation students will go practice early in the morning(and i mean real early!since the rooms are mostly fully booked after 8/9am) have classes in the afternoon, and practice again at night(till 10++pm). I always joke to my friends in kch that we actually need to fight to use the practice room. It is partly true anyway LOL. It is just so nice to be able to meet new friends here who do the same things as you do(i.e.piano playing), share/discuss among ourselves the pieces that we play,hear them demonstrating their pieces,or just simply chat with them. They can be really interesting sometime,the way they talk or express themselves. I feel so blessed. hahaha...~~
I don't think I eat like usual here in kl. Well actually i dont even REMEMBER to eat nor do i really care about it.. it's like there are more important things to do than eat. sometimes friends will have to ask and pull me out to eat haha.. i even ate one sweet nia for whole day when i was soo busy last sat but not good of course.. can tahan during day time but feeling very exhausted at night. so ate some small slice of cakes served after the evangelical rally at church,at night .
Somemore not electricity in my dorm last night. so guess what I ate? LOL. a pack of keropok. the only food in my room that i could eat without microwave and hot water. Today i treated myself better. ate fried rice for brunch and a cup of instant cereal drink for dinner.
I have to remind myself not to torture my stomach LOL.
Some friends at kch know HOW MUCH i have wished (yearned..) to be able to play duet with someone,and that i always fail to find someone to do so with me. and so I've literally bought and brought a second-handed Mozart for Four hands,all the way from kch to kl, with much hope that I can find someone here at last to play that with me. and yes i did, and it was great! HOWEVER......!! I LOST MY BOOK,my PRECIOUS MOZART DUET book.. on past tuesday.........!!! T.T and I havent even played sonata in D major K 448 yet..!!! T.T NOOOoo....!!!
and my Chopin complete etudes as well......... !!! why????!!....... T.T

from right to left: Alex, who plays a lot of Chopin,very expressive and play many fast pieces,local; Everett, forgot where he's from but he's taking composition and contemporary piano(if im not wrong), local as well(i think). I only met and get to know him not long ago; Teddy-- yes that's his name. indonesian.
He only started to learn piano 3 years ago and so he still needs to learn a lot,but impressive already for only playing for 3 years. having the advantages of having long fingers and big hands, he plays Chopin and Rachmaninoff. He is 3 years younger than me btw @.@
LOL. This is Jessica. Indonesian as well. She can be very funny haha~ I will definitely have chances to hear her playing in the future ^-^

I have changed my minor instrument to viola. but my instructor..she's a good violist but... sigh~
and recital is in 3 weeks time. practice practice!~

Last time(March 09) went to idp education fair with Gin and Tay and got the free movie ticket because we're among the first 100ppl. just called Gin and made plan(she also hasn't used hers because she's waiting for me to go with her ^^'') and we've decided to go watch movie this Thursday night/afternoon. N-gage has so many nice games with amazing graphic BUT we have to purchase to play the full games or else we only get to play the trial, with minimum gaming time/level( can only play level 1 nia on Prince of Persia!! T.T) and that's why i've downloaded few FREE mobile games NOT under N-gage to my phone,like Tom Raider Underworld.
Today,for the FIRST TIME in my life(again),during my piano class, Chopin's Scherzo in B flat minor (and it's YUNDI LI's version) suddenly stuck in my head when im in the middle of playing Brahms' Intermezzo to Miss Annie!! My mind sings the Scherzo while my finger playing Intermezzo!! I can only hear Scherzo in my head,and my ears, when my fingers unmistakenly playing Brahms piece!! AHHHHHhhhh....!!!! siao!! how is that possible???!! got 2 mind meh?? For that instant as if my mind is not my own,my fingers are still moving(because my eyes are still reading the score!) but that dint last long. I immediately forced myself snapped out of it with some effort and still going on with Brahms. I was surprised Miss Annie dint realise anything.
I dont want that to happen ever again. NOT in my June exam.
Recently there's a Indian piano dealer shipped in 80++ recon/second-handed piano and having sales at Boulevard(FYI, recon means reconditioned,that is, repairing the old piano,changed the rotten parts, and makes it looks brand new) Baby grand piano at only around RM15000!!(whole new one can cost about RM50,000 or more okay) upright piano can be so cheap like about RM3000+ nia(new one is around RM 10,000++.already can be considered as investment liao.) Makes ppl wonder about the quality the tone and the touch of the piano. So pls ppl out there, dont simply buy!!!

I have to attend an interview by USM at Hilton tomorrow morning. They called few days ago just to remind me to wear pakaian FORMAL. =.= how formal is your standard of formality? OL wear? Night gown? Dinner dress? blouse and skirt?What?
starts at 8am. so i will go early. I REALLY hope that they wont give me a long interview and long theory assessment. I still need to rush to Scoffield to teach at 10am ah!!

Yay~~ Im free from pills!! XD yesterday went to check up at Dr Patrick Lao's Clinic(at Timberland, my every 12weeks routine LOL) and guess what, he said he will let me stop taking med liao, and see how it goes until my next check up (need blood test la). But he still gave me the med for heart just in case and to be taken when 'necessary'. necessary nia okay.LOL. im glad. Have been taking pills since PRIMARY 3 you know. I think my body already got a bit immune to certain med liao la.
I wonder why im always feeling hungry,just recently. I wonder if my appetite grows. LOL. and i slept for the whole afternoon today =.= Getting tired easily and lol,can sleep at anytime i guess.
Hmm.. I went to watch Shopaholic the day before yesterday, with my cousin Gin,church youth Wan Yi and Aunt Esther (her mum. cool leh. mum that actually went to cinema to watch movie with her child). The movie is quite entertaining. Funny and nice. Im not giving spoilers here :P worth watch. That day was Ladies' day, so we girls bought ticket for RM6 each XD
I'll be doing audition at UCSI during my trip to KL the week after next. The registration fee is ridiculous. but still have to pay =.=
I just found out that USM will be having interview + audition on Thurs, 23 April 2009. It's at Penang. Should I go? air ticket is Rm 300++ to & fro if i booked now. but will i study there when i get accepted?
Nah. I just wanna know which local uni i might ended up in. just out of curiosity. I MIGHT go for USM interview, but i think not UM's. Need money to fly here and there just for interview ah. Applied it because curious too.
SO why did i even apply for local Us?
I still haven't recorded my audition for oversea's application.
What am i waiting for? Why preparing myself for that costed me so much time?
Miss Chai told me again this morning that never go ''locally'' for music. Poor environment, facilities, and standard for that. Simply go elsewhere like Aus or NewZealand already considered better than here. Japan, Korea or China are even better than those 2.
All that matters are full preparations. But if lack confidence of forwarding and keep waiting for the right time, then one will end up achieve nothing.Lazyworm. Silly to destroy own goal.

You SEE..!! I DON'T have enough time for practicing!! I need to ready my ATCL pieces(4) and accompaniment pieces for Eddy's ATCL (he's a vocalist. and there're 9 pieces! do u believe Deposuit Potentes from MAGNIFICAT is harder than my ATCL Bach's Prelude&Fugue?) before JUNE! The accompaniment pieces aren't any easy pieces too(yes for me the most difficult is Deposuit. I would love to play the orchestra arrangement de!!that one also available for pianist! the one that im playing now is been modified with lots of challenging technique works). I need constant practices.I dint complain to practice. I just need MORE time. MORE TIME. and still got my audition recording leh. T.T
Already confirmed that i will be going to KL on 13-15 April. Booked the air tickets and hotel room. Im going with Miss Pricilla to visit UCSI and ICOM(meeting the Dean and Professors.Arranged by Miss Pricilla.Nervous~), Miss Wong, and studio seeing them doing music productions. I will go PJ(or other place around) to do Masterclass and of course, shopping. XD
