Ukraine : Time to start negotiating and stop all this death qnd destruction and making the weapons industry richer by the minute,

The EU should take the lead to bring this long  lasting, not only costly in human lives, but also in economic terms, conflict to a peaceful end.

If this means disolving NATO and the Warshow Pact, in exchange for free and deomocratic elections in countries which never had them, and even offering Russia a membership in the EU, why not, evering else has not worked. 

Obviously it won't be an easy task, but the alternative  would be more  suffering and economic disaster.

Murdoch back in U.S. to battle other challenges -

One of the biggest fears among investors is that more bombshells about the U.K. phone hacking scandal will drop in the U.S. and detonate such widespread outrage that advertisers will stop buying TV spots on News Corp.-owned stations. There are worries, too, that moviegoers will boycott theaters showing 20th Century Fox films.
