As Putin's planned quick invasion of Ukraine appears to turn against him, the Russian army has resorted to more and more vicious measures.
Almost 90% of the southern city of Mariupol has been damaged or destroyed, while numerous atrocities have been reported, including the shelling of a theatre killing 300, or the bombing of a maternity hospital.
But these atrocities should sadly come as little surprise to those who have been following the actions
From the bloody civil war in Syria to the brutal annexation of Crimea, and even killing their own people, Putin's top generals have been accused of waging savagery across the world for decades.

Saudi Arabia - Human Rights Abuses: Saudi heir complicit in Khashoggi murder, US assessment reportedly finds
Joe Biden is expected to call Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, as his administration prepares to release a declassified intelligence assessment that will reportedly name the royal’s son and heir as complicit in the grisly murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
The White House confirmed on Wednesday that Biden’s call to the 85-year-old ruler would take place “soon” and that the declassified report on Khashoggi’s murder was being readied for release. Biden, who said he has read the report, is insisting that he speak only to the king.

EU pays tribute to Saudi journalist Khashoggi on anniversary of killing - by Toga Bozoglu
The European Union paid tribute on 2 October to the memory of Jamal Khashoggi,
a Saudi journalist who was murdered last year in the premises of the
Consulate General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul.
The EU reiterated in a statement the need to ensure full accountability for those responsible and insisted on an investigation of the circumstances of the killing.
“Jamal Khashoggi continues to be an inspiration to journalists and associates with whom he was in contact for his work, including colleagues in the EU institutions.”
“As Jamal Khashoggi, journalists are too often the target of attacks in many countries.
On this occasion, the European Union reaffirms its unequivocal commitment to the freedom of the press and the protection of journalists across the world.”, the statement reads.
Note-EU-Digest: Kudos to the Government of Turkey, for renaming a street near the former Saudi Consulate General offices in Istanbul, "the Khashoggi street", and allowing Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon, and owner of the Washington Post, where Khashoggi worked, to unveil a memorial to the murdered journalist today, the first anniversary of the journalist's death.
The US remains the number one exporter of arms to Saudi Arabia and the world. Earlier in the year, Trump rebuffed bi-partisan US congressional efforts to punish Saudi Arabia for the killing of columnist Jamal Khashoggi \, and turned back criticism over the kingdom’s prosecution of its war against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia: Members of Saudi team that killed Khashoggi received training says a US report
Members of the Saudi team that killed journalist Jamal Khashoggi
received training in the United States, the Washington Post has
reported, revealing other new elements in the death of the newspaper's
former contributor.
A critic of the Saudi regime, Khashoggi was killed and dismembered
October 2 in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul by a team of 15 agents sent
from Riyadh. His body has never been recovered.
After having denied the murder, Saudi Arabia said the operation was carried out by agents who were out of control. A trial of 11 suspects opened earlier this year in Saudi Arabia.
But much of the case remains shrouded, beginning with the role of Saudi Arabia's powerful crown prince and de facto ruler, Mohammed bin Salman.
The US Senate, after a closed-door briefing by the CIA, adopted a resolution naming the crown prince as "responsible" for the murder, while President Donald Trump has refused to publicly take a stand.
According to Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, a Saudi who closely read the transcript of a recording from a bug placed in the consulate by Turkish intelligence said it indicates the plan was to kidnap Khashoggi and bring him back to Saudi Arabia for detention and interrogation.
A note in the transcript says an injection was administered to Khashoggi, which the Saudi source said was probably a powerful sedative.
A bag was then placed over his head, and Khashoggi screamed: "I can't breathe, I have asthma. Don't do this." According to the Post, he died soon after.
The transcript describes a buzzing noise, perhaps an electric saw used to dismember the journalist.
According to Ignatius, who said he interviewed more than a dozen American and Saudi sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, some members of the Saudi Rapid Intervention Group received training in the United States.
"The CIA has cautioned other government agencies that some of this special-operations training might have been conducted by Tier 1 Group, an Arkansas-based company, under a State Department license," he said.
"The training occurred before the Khashoggi incident, as part of ongoing liaison with the Saudis, and it hasn’t been resumed."
He said several other US-Saudi security exchange programs also have been suspended.

Saudi Arabia: Britain, EU collaborating for sanctions against Saudi Arabia - by Ahmet Gurhan Kartal
Britain on Tuesday said they are looking
into ways to introduce global sanctions against Saudi Arabia in the wake
of the brutal killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
“The
U.K. has been clear that we need to see accountability for the horrific
murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi,” a Foreign Office spokesperson
said.
“The actions Britain and our
allies take will depend on two things: firstly the credibility of the
final explanation given by Saudi Arabia, and secondly on our confidence
that such an appalling episode cannot -- and will not -- be repeated,”
the spokesperson added in a statement.
The
U.K. is “exploring with EU partners the potential for an EU global
human rights sanctions regime, which could address such brutal human
rights violations".

Morality begins at home: There Is no justification for killing, terrorism, collateral damage, torture or murder in any way or form
RE:. ISLAM: "Terrorism or hirabah is forbidden in Islamic law, which groups it with brigandage, highway robbery and extortion rackets– any illicit use of fear and coercion in public spaces for money or power. The principle of forbidding the spreading of terror in the land is based on the Qur’an (Surah al-Ma’ida 5:33–34).
‘Anyone who disturbs free passage in the streets and renders them unsafe to travel, striving to spread corruption in the land by taking money, killing people or violating what God has made it unlawful to violate is guilty of hirabah .
RE: JUDAISM : ” murder is "not the way of the Torah," declared Rabbi Lau in sharp condemnation of the murder, which is thought to have been an act of "revenge" for the murder of three Israeli teens Eyal Yifrah, Naftali Frenkel and Gilad Sha'ar by Hamas terrorists on June 12 this year.
RE CHRISTIANITY: "Even before the codification of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai the murder of other human beings was wrong (Genesis 4:8-12; 4:23-24; 9:4-6; Exodus 1:16-17). While on earth, Jesus spoke out against murder (Matthew 5:21-26; Mark 10:17-19).
We also see in the writings of Paul (Romans 1:18, 29-32; 13:8-10; Galatians 5:19-21), James (James 2:8-11; 4:1-3), Peter (1 Peter 4:15-16) and John (Revelation 9:20-21; 21:7-8; 22:14-15) that murder is wrong".
BOTTOM LINE: there is no moral justification for murder, killing, terrorism, capital punishment, military "collateral damage", or even for that matter euthanasia.
The pictures below are only a tip of the iceberg.
Unfortunately man is his own worst enemy and it only seems to be getting worse.
