Quiz

My cousin Melissa is doing a project for her college class and had me ask Belize some questions:

1. Why does the sun come up? "Because the earth spins."

2. Where do dreams come from? "Naps."

3. Why is the ocean blue? "Because it it. I don't know. . . because of the SKY!!!"

My darlings

Buela treated the kids to new threads (can you tell Belize picked hers out? ;) ) and being an equal-opportunist, I thought the hospital was as good as any to have a little photo shoot. Doesn't really matter where they are, they are always the sweetest and most adorable children to me. I love these darlings, they are my heart (and Brannon), THEY are the key to my happiness.

Abuelo & Abuela!!!

Yeah!!! The grandparents came to play! (aka Mommy gets a much need break and lots of rest!) Brannon's parents came into town and the kids were overjoyed! There was lots of shopping, playing at the park, yummy meals, pancake breakfasts and bubbles! We didn't get lots of pictures but we did get some cute ones when we visited Dr. Orton Jr. at work.

For the Grandparents

I've been trying to get Rio to talk on video, which has been proving difficult, so this is the best I've gotten so far. This might just be for the Grandparents though cause its LONG!

Today the primary president told me Belize said to her "I help my brother when he's stuck. That makes me a peacemaker."

"Mom, I don't want to bare my testimony, I want to KEEP it!"

If Belize doesn't want to do something, she finds a Cranium card and says, "Mom, listen to my story." Then proceeds, something like this: "The little girl isn't tired and doesn't want to go to bed so she colors a picture." To which I say, "Let ME read the story." "The little girl wants to mind her mommy and goes to bed." Then she takes the card back and says, "No, that's not what it says, it says . . . . (she makes up another "story") This continues on and on.

Rio is getting clearer in his pronunciation of certain words. Still most of his words sound the same, only Mom can translate. He is constantly cracking us up with his good-natured antics. He has started singing the song, "Clean up, Clean up" when we pick up, but it sounds more like, "Ne-nuh. Ne-nuh."
