Fair and Square

These are some squares that were sent to my partners for some rounds that haven't been posted yet...so I though I'd share:

received your email. i posted peg's squares on April 5, have proof of posting here. i am ssooo sorry she hasn't got them yet. please keep me updated when they do show up. i will, of course, stitch replacements should they go awol! sorry Peg!!

Sandra sent an email that she had received her Earth Day package she also let me know that her's to me would be a little late but would be worth the wait. I can't wait to see what she is stitching. Here is a photo of what I sent to her. Edited: The design is from a Cross Country Stitching Magazine, thought that the flower pot was perfect for the Earth Round

Just checking in quickly...have received and mailed packages this past week. First had my grandsons and didn't even get a chance to open my mail with them here and then my job took me out of town for the week. Just now returned home. I have 2 packages to get opened and pictures posted. Will get that done later today or tomorrow. I have my replacement package for round 5 from Kathy and my round six package from Darla. I also mailed out my Earth Day package to Sandra B and round six to Darla.

could you please sign me up vonna? would be fun to participate in this very US celebration!

had a word from Mindi - she received my # 5 squares, she just hasn't had time to post.

i received some gorgous squares from Marg the other day, i wanted to post earlier but had comp problems. still looking for my digital camera, but promise to post a pic later.
Marg sent me a gorgeous heart (whitework?) and it's soo delicate. i will make it into a pinkeep.

At last my squares have arrived safely from Sandra in The Netherlands. I was a little worried as the parcel had been opened by the customs department.However they had put a note in the package to say nothing had been removed. A good reason why it took a little longer getting here. Sandra kindly sent me some tea bags and either the sniffer dogs thought they were of interest or perhaps the x ray machine made it look like something other than tea. Maybe the person operating the x ray machine was a stitcher and just wanted a closer look at Sandra's lovely stitching plus the extra fabric and threads I was receiving. Hope everyone enjoys the festive season and for those down south we are hoping it will not be too hot on Christmas day while those in the north try to stay warm.

thanks for your info. pls. keep me updated about my squares to you as well, round 4, as they were sent 22 Nov. and still nothing yet? seems to take forever this time of year. ...

Sandra - Your squares will be in the post to you today and I do hope they do not take too long to reach you or get caught up in all the Christmas mail. my name is Sandra, i am 38 years old an a stay at home mom to 3 children, a 5 y/o boy, a 3 y/o girl and a baby girl of 6 weeks old. i live in the Netherlands.
i am totally addicted to cross stitching. i love stitching on hand dyed fabrics, and mostly stitch with silks and/or specials fibers.
i am currently stitching the Ann Grimshaw reproduction (a HUGE sampler) with Vikky Clayton silk. (in black purple :)
i like anything Quaker related, primitives, ABCs, Little House Needleworks, Ink Circles, Geometric desings, Plump street samplers and likewise , Bent Creek, Waxing Moon, & Mermaids in general.
my favourite colours are purple and blue.
i have participated in several exchanges, this will be my first fair and square one and i am really looking forward to it!
